Quiet gem with great service! I would recommend this location again and again! The hotel is quiet and the rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast tasted good, contained healthy choices, and a variety of selections. Now to the hospitality, our stay was due to bereavement, but I tell you this, Mr. K.D. ensured we had a smile every interaction! He provided top tier customer service - even as we checked in at 2am after a long day of travel! Thank you to the entire staff!

Great place if you like to shop or eat!!! Great front desk management! We felt welcome from the moment we walked in. Pool was nice for kids. Food was good for breakfast. Gym was also good. Rooms were a little small and outdated but we still loved everything about it. Everything was convenient.

Want someone else’s dirty clothing & leftover food? Then this is the place for you! There was leftover food in the fridge and someone else’s DIRTY LAUNDRY on the floor. Makes me wonder what other parts of the cleaning wasn’t actually completed between guests _ I overlooked the reviews that mentioned the property was a little run down, offered subpar breakfast, and in general wasn’t the nicest Hampton they’d ever stayed at… because all we needed was a clean room with a comfortable bed for the night. So what didn’t bother me was the spot of peeling paint over the tub, the little bit of mold in the caulk, or the scuffs on the wall. But never in my decades of traveling, not even in the worst & cheapest dump, have I ever encountered someone else’s wadded up clothing on the floor. It had very clearly slid from the bench down onto the floor where my partner grabbed it (while checking that we hadn’t missed anything) before realizing that it most definitely wasn’t mine. I cannot tell you just how revolting it was to touch someone else’s dirty clothing, but now he can. Absolutely unacceptable anywhere, but something I never expected to have be a problem at a Hilton property! To make the whole situation worse, there wasn’t even a manager on duty when I checked out & the (very apologetic) desk clerk had to leave a note. I’ve not received any follow up communication attempt from the property, which is truly appalling given the amount of time that has now passed & the severity of the issue. For the price I paid, I could have rented two rooms at any of several competing hotels in Auburn Hills, and I all but guarantee that neither would have come with leftovers from the previous occupants.

Clean and comfy I stayed for 4 nights for a business trip and the hotel is very clean. The people at the lobby were always friendly, the bed sheets, towels and tub were clean. I recommend it and would stay here again.

Did NOT provide the room booked but still great stay I booked a king bed room via the Hilton website. The day we are to arrive I got a call that morn asking if it was ok to change my room to 2 queen beds because the hotel “overbooked” king rooms. I said no. Unfortunately when we arrived at the hotel soon after check in time we were told we had to take a room with 2 queens because all of the king rooms were already booked. I asked how that could happen and was told “it happens all the time with 3rd party sites”. When I explained I booked via their website they had no explanation. At least they had a room for us. And the staff were very very friendly and apologetic for the error. The rest of the stay was lovely. The rooms are very sound proof with lots of room; I think it helped they gave us an accessible room. The heat/cool unit worked perfectly but no option for constant fan if you desire white noise to sleep. The room was clean and stocked with everything we needed though I did hear many customers saying their room did not have enough towels. The bed, pillows & linens were comfortable. The hotel was fully booked for some sort of sporting event for high school kids so we got up at the start of breakfast and only encountered 1-3 other folks so everything was fully stocked and at the correct temperature. Decent selection and tasted good for a hotel breakfast buffet. I give them 5 stars because it is not the local hotel’s fault that the national website overbooked king rooms AND the staff went above and beyond to apologize and make sure everything else met our needs, which it did. As long as you are not super fussy on what type of room you get, highly recommend this place and would stay here again.
