Garner Auburn - Seattle by IHG

Locked out We have been here 10 days and our card has had to be reactivated 5 times. Tonight we have been waiting for someone to show up at the front desk for 15 minutes and still no one. The hotel is older but clean.

Clean Up or Close Down The hotel is definitely in need of a face lift. Upon arriving, the management was courteous and helpful and that was a plus. However, the rooms in photos when you are searching out a hotel do not show the actual details. The carpets look like they had not been cleaned in years with stains all over. The room has seen better days and quite worn out and very small in size. But the worst feature that destroyed my faith in this hotel was that it was literally crawling with bugs! The bathroom towels, tub and flooring had a slew of, I assume, ants running rampant. I did not sleep a wink all night fearing that bugs were in the carpet too!!! There was actual vomit on one of the curtains! I do not know who does the upkeep of this place, but they should either clean up or close down. The only decent quality about this Red Lion, besides the employees, was the breakfast in the morning and that was wonderful. Now, yes, I did take photos of all this, but I don't feel it necessary to post them as I think just buyer beware if you look at their website to book a room. Needless to say, there are other much better hotels in the area and they are "bug free" which I did scout out.

Great stay after concert at White River Amphitheater First things first - was greeted by friendly, well organized staff. Check-in was a breeze. The hotel is clean, a little compact, but the room looked clean and fresh. We had a king bedroom. The room came with a spacious fridge and microwave, along with the one cup coffee maker and TV. The bathroom amenities were just right. Can’t argue about anything here! Great value and experience! There was hot coffee in the lobby at check out (we missed breakfast, but it smelled good!) We’ll stay here again when going to White River Amphitheater.

Good value for the money. Friendly helpful staff. Quiet and comfortable rooms. Clean as well! Breakfast was adequate. Most folks I noticed seemed to be pleased as well. Eggs were overcooked for me but again, the breakfast room was clean and fresh.

Great Stay This is a very clean and very affordable hotel. The hotel looks recently updated, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Abdul (the front desk clerk) went above and beyond. He provided great customer service, and upgraded my room upon check-in. They offer complementing breakfast and have a fitness center. I really enjoyed my stay, and highly recommend this hotel.
