Nicely remodeled and updated This hotel has been renovated. We were very happy with our room. It was neat, clean and spacious. Breakfast was very good and was always restocked. The location was convenient for us for all that we needed to do and see. We will stay here again.

book elsewhere I recently stayed at La Quinta Inn Augusta/Fort Eisenhower, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The cleanliness of the hotel is highly questionable. The hallways were in desperate need of vacuuming, and the tile floors looked like they hadn't seen a mop in weeks. To make matters worse, there was a used toilet plunger sitting next to the third-floor ice machine for most of our stay, and a diaper was inexplicably placed on top of the ice machine. This level of neglect is unacceptable; regular property walks to note and address such issues should be mandatory. The overall grossness extended to the food service area, which did not feel clean enough to safely consume any of the provided food. This is a major concern. The pool area was another major disappointment. It was incredibly filthy, resembling a germy cesspool. My interactions with the staff were equally troubling. When I requested a "Do Not Disturb" sign, the night desk clerk informed me that they were "held by housekeeping, ain't got any." He also assured me that housekeeping only cleans upon request. However, later in our stay, housekeeping entered our room uninvited while we were watching TV. In our room, the toilet paper roll holder and several other items were broken. Additionally, we had to deal with burned-out lightbulbs and a lack of batteries in the TV remote. The shelf in our shower was installed incorrectly, much like many other aspects of the room. This lack of attention to detail is frustrating and detracts significantly from the guest experience. The workout room sucked, with both treadmills out of order. Finally, the presence of religious propaganda throughout the hotel was off-putting and, frankly, rude. Guests come from diverse backgrounds and beliefs, and imposing such materials on them is inappropriate and unwelcoming. This hotel is in dire need of better management and maintenance. Book elsewhere.

Book some place else! None of the pictures are what the place really looks like. Dirty, filthy elevator, we didn’t eat because of how dirty the place looked from our arrival to the elevator.

Very disappointed Upon my arrival there was a sign that the pool was out of order. The pool looked as if it hadn't been maintenance or cleaned it months. The breakfast was basic and below standards. Dried out sausage and greasy hash browns. The rooms were freezing. I used the facilities downstairs and there was no toilet paper. The older white gentlemen was nonchalant when I told him and said he had put 5 rolls in the bathroom the night before. I asked for clean linens and towels at 9am the same gentlemen said housekeeping does not come til 10a I got my linens and towels around 3p after calling a second time. When housekeeping came they just walked right in no uniform no shirt and badge was not visible I was locked out my room because my card was deactivated the morning of our last stay.
