Check-in Delay I rated the overall experience as a 3 because my room was NOT ready at 3pm and I had to wait about 1/2 hour. The lobby smell really bad but that might have been the teenagers there attending a sports team competition. Teenagers just stink. The lobby restroom was pretty dirty that made me cringe. But in fairness to the staff, that might have been the work of the teenagers because the next day, I checked out of curiosity and it was indeed clean. Breakfast was cold but not a big deal because they had a microwave to heat it up. The staff at the desk during check-in and check-out were EXTREMELY nice and helpful as well as the lady attending to the breakfast area.

Convenient location but dirty af If you like a clean room do not stay here. The lobby and main areas looked clean and nice but our room was disgusting. The shower definitely had not been cleaned and the drain didn't work very well. There were foreign hairs all over in the bathroom! And weird brown stains on the shower curtain. Carpet hadn't been vacuumed in quite sometime also.

Wouldn’t stay again Cleanliness is just not up to par with the floors in room, hallways and elevators. My room smelled awful like urine from a pet, hallway carpet spots and recent spill marks, elevator floor was sticky and overall wasn’t very clean. I do feel for house keeping as we came in after the hotel was “trashed” as per the staff by youth from a local event.

Very disappointing Upon arrival, noticed Lobby floor was filthy. Trying to be open-minded, hoping the room would be better. It was not. Got to the room, door wasn't even locked/latched. Immediately noticed a dirty feet smell. A/C was off. I always pull the bed linens down to check if they are clean. Nope. Noticed the mattress pad had God only knows what kind of stains on it. We requested a different room. While checking the other room, housekeeping staff came to the first room (across the hall) just to verify the dirty linens. 2nd room at least had clean linens however, one of the beds had the wrong size mattress pad on it, didn't fit right. Carpet was dirty, sticky. I did not take my shoes off until I got into bed. Furniture was quite dusty as well. We were supposed to be there 2 nights, we checked out the next day. Would've checked out right then but there were very few places with availability as a sports event was going on nearby. Actually thought a Best Western Plus would be decent. Big Minus from me. Never again

July 4th We chose this location as part of out Georgia vacation, and it coincided with the July 4th celebration in downtown Augusta. Great fun, music and fireworks!
