Brand Destroyer I will never ever again stay at a Holiday Inn Express solely on Brand. That ends with this stay. - Charged my credit card a $75 convenience fee without notice or authorization - Large portions of Hotel is a construction zone. One functioning elevator. - Bottom of my bathroom door shedding splinters for my feet. - Lobby was hot (doors open). - Loud music playing at checkout desk. - Creamer smelled foul. - Breakfast not available until 6:30 AM. By far, the best thing about this hotel was the way it looked in the rear view mirror.

Falls Well Short of what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express This hotel Falls Well Short of what I expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The Good: The main lobby was nice, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the breakfast was great. Other than that the rest of the place needs a lot of work to meet the standard I expect from a Holiday Inn Express. The Bad: The elevator really needs a good cleaning or renovation, the hallway had a strong & strange mold and bleach odor. The carpet had a nasty stain, and the coffee maker had a nasty black soot or mold making it unusable. The couch and the office chair were stained so badly that I had nowhere to sit beside the bed. (see photos) While the bathroom was clean the body wash pump was broken and unusable. One of the lights in the bathroom was also burned out. I did report the body wash pump and the light bulb to the front desk and they did repair those items. I will not be staying here again on future visits. Again to say this hotel falls short of what I've come to expect from a Holiday Inn Express is an understatement.

All of my pet peeves All of my pet peeves - I reserved a king they gave me a queen, the coffee maker didn't work, I had to wait for coffee at breakfast, the shower water was luke warm, the elevator looked like a freight elevator that somebody had taken a glass of milk and thrown against the wall, etc........

Basic living This place was basic comfortable living. Good bed and all the amenities in a very small space. The bathroom was nice but small. The staff was pleasant. The only comment was there is Nowhere to eat after 7 pm. If you plan to go to dinner.. stop!! The breakfast was very good again with nice staff.
