Not great but not the worst It was fairly clean. No bugs. Bedding was comfortable….. hard to control temp in room. Was hot and cold all night long. Found trash behind chair, spills on bathroom door and cabinets. Shower was short and tub felt like it was tipped forward…water pressure wasn’t great and water temp was hard to control. Shower curtain wouldn’t close. Tv was small. Travel coffee cups weren’t wrapped so not sure how long they were there or if clean. Elevator and hallways were dirty. It had a strange smell to it….. People loitered around outside and inside hotel. Staff were very nice. Not a lot of lighting in parking lot. Glad my husband was with me as I wouldn’t feel comfortable staying here on my own. Overall it wasn’t the worst we have been in…… but still don’t think it was worth the money and will never try another one of these hotels….

Good grief I'm very disappointed to say the least with my stay here at the Candlewood AURORA 2625 West Sullivan. I went to the front desk with this concerns and told them it is unexpectable and that I need all new bedding. I was given half of what I asked for and when I asked to talk to the general manager I was told that he wouldn't be in until Monday. I called the General Manager and let two messages for the front desk to give to him. However I'm thinking he never received the messages as I'm still waiting for a call. At this time I feel as if I'm falling on deaf ears. Which is fine I will just leave this review for all to see and read. If your looking for a cheap whole in the wall motel then this is the place for you. I'm sure the pictures are not doing any justice but this place is nasty.

Management is lazy! Management sat around while 1 person was trying to check 20 people in. Reservations were all messed up annd rooms were not ans promised. Almost missed the shuttle and was late for the wedding reception. Welcome bags were not in rooms or distributed. #bonvoyisbetter

Health inspector would have shut the place down We arrived about three in the afternoon. Front desk said the room is still being cleaned, Returned after four thirty pm. When we stepped into the room it was obvious that it had not been cleaned at all. The bathroom sink did not drain, counters filthy, personal items left in refrigerator and on desk shelves . The front desk clerk came up to see the room, she tried to clean what she could. We informed her that the room was unacceptable. She said that it was the only room available in the hotel. We informed her that we were leaving to find another hotel to stay at. She said she understood and watched us leave. They went ahead and charged our credit card for the reservation. The last minute cancellation was their fault, their incompetence. NOW, we are being treated rudely by the hotel management. Spending hours trying to get our money refunded. The health department inspector would have a field day with this facility.

Avoid the "hotel" My son recently stayed here while visiting friends who were also in town for an event. The parking lot had some questionable vehicles to begin. No one was at the front desk upon walking in for check-in, and when someone did arrive the warm and inviting welcome you expect of a hotel was definitely lacking. The hotel had a damp smell to it upon entering. The hallway was another musky/smoke smell. Once he entered the room he noticed mold along the bathroom doors, cockroaches, hair on the bedding, and several furniture items which were broken/torn. Management was less than sympathetic and ultimately told him to leave if he was unsatisfied with the facility.
