I'd compare to the others in the area. No clothes hangers in the closet, mold around tub and tile join. Although room appeared clean hotel was in need of paint and repairs. Run down appearance. Noisy hallways. Only about 6 bottles of soda in cooler and other snacks were very low stocked.

Bad is an understatement. You won't have to worry about Bed Bugs here as the cockroaches probably ate them all. And you will meet lots of other guests as they are in the parking lot drinking beer and very friendly especially if you're a female. Overpriced, dirty with disappearing front counter staff.

Shattered window Do not stay here and definitely DO NOT park your vehicle here! On July 13th I left my truck there. My front window was cracked and my back window shattered. No cameras no one saw or heard anything. No nothing. I asked before I got back about being refunded I was told I would be able to be refunded for my room and for my parking since I paid directly through them. They said yes I would but the general manager had to do it. Awesome. I got nothing. We asked for them MULTIPLE TIMES for our window to be taped up. It took me calling ever 15-30 minutes to make sure there was a garbage bag on it. We got there to pick up my truck still no refund said they would do it in the morning since we got in at 2-3 am. The next day nothing called again 2 days later said they would tell the general manager to do it. SURPRISE nothing. 2 weeks later we called again and was told again the general manager would do it in the morning. Called that morning multiple time couldn’t get through. We are now a month out and no contact no refund nothing!

Avoid! Avoid. Been a Choice member for years with stays all across US and Canada. I’ve never had to write a review like this. Hotel is under renovation which they don’t tell you, so pics of facility are false advertisement. The room had no closet, so there was no way to hang items. The windows are crazed so you cannot see out and ours actually had broken glass. The “new” bedside lamp didn’t work. Yes, it was plugged in. No desk lamp leaving the room dark. The floor had glue from the vinyl installation on it so dirt was stuck to it. Paint on the vanity. We found someone’s hair rubber band on the vinyl. The shower wall had hair and brown stuff on it, along with someone’s bellybutton lint. That we didn’t find until 2AM when getting ready to leave for the airport. Had to go to get towels, only one set provided for a double. The clerk was training a new person and wasn’t too interested in getting towels as he sat there vaping on his Geek bar vape. Elevator was filthy. There was virtually no market items as advertised. We could have left, but we drove 3 hours and just needed to sleep before catching a plane. Reservation was made 3 mo ago, so we did not see the sad reviews. This hotel gives Choice a bad name.

Just say NO Here’s a highlight reel for my recent stay at the Comfort Suites Austin Airport. • The king sized bed I reserved was reconfigured to 2 queen beds without notifying me in advance. • The room had not been cleaned by 8pm when I arrived. • I had to wait over 30 minutes for my room to be cleaned. • The elevator floor was dirty, cracked, and uneven. • The second floor hallway was missing all baseboards and had paint-covered carpet. • The room across ours was still being cleaned, now at 8:45pm • The “closet” in our room did not have a rod, clothes hangers, or doors. • The light switch just inside the door did not work • There was no toilet paper holder and no hairdryer. • The water in the shower was cold until I was 2/3rds done, then it became scalding. The corporate customer service phone representative who I spoke to that night said they could not take any action until the General Manager had a chance to make improvements during our stay. They only help after a guest checks out. At check-out, the desk attendant, who was the same woman I saw cleaning rooms the night before, was already aware of all these problems, but she only offered a “take it or leave it” $40 (15%) discount. She did not have the authority to negotiate a solution that I felt would be more appropriate. However, two days later, another corporate phone representative did agree to the entire bill for our stay. I was happy with this resolutuion Three days after my refund was processed, the property’s Assistant General Manager, Jeremiah Gutierrez sent me an email apologizing for the conditions of our stay and informing me that my interactions with his staff were aggressive, belittling, and disrespectful. He never reached out to me to hear my story, he did not acknowledge that I received a full refund due to the atrocious conditions at his property, and he assumed that his employees accurately portrayed our interactions. While I was firm and assertive in advocating for myself, I did not yell, belittle, or disrespect any of the staff. In fact, I empathized with them for having to deal with their management’s neglect of the building, the guests, and the employees. Thanks to Mr Gutierrez’s completely unnecessary and utterly one-sided email message, I feel compelled to help other travelers avoid this hotel. With so many other airport hotels nearby, why take a risk on this one?!
