Pay Attention - Avoid For Now This is not a place you want to stay until the conditions change dramatically! On the plus side, this older motel property is clean, the rooms are comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The property is just one block from Highway 99 and borders a residential neighborhood and several similar hotels, and fast food restaurants. Because of Covid, the lobby is closed, the pool is unavailable, and there is no breakfast available (not even coffee). The Internet service was hit and miss (kept going out), and there was a strong odor of pot smoking throughout the area. Unfortunately there is also a significant homeless camp about one block away and a large number of homeless and derelicts wander all around the property continuously. When I tried to check in, a guy with a guitar wanted to play for me if I would give him money. His girlfriend wanted to "watch my car" if I would pay her. There are signs in nearby gas stations and restaurants warning you not to give in to the many panhandlers that inhabit the neighborhood. I sat up much of the night watching my car to ensure it wasn't broken into. From my window I watched drug deals in the parking lot. I watched a couple of hookers ply their trade in the parking lot. I listened to a couple fight in the parking lot and threaten to kill each other. I watched homeless people camp out on the property. In short, this is NOT A PLACE TO STAY until the owners get some proper security for their guests. Go down the road, spend a few dollars more and stay in a safe place. Just two miles away you'll find a nice Comfort Suites, Holiday Inn Express, Fairfield Inn, etc, for about $25 more than you would pay at this Rodeway Inn...

Disgusting It’s disgusting, terrible smell in the hallway, dirty pair of boxers in bathroom, not ours, hair dryer did not work, no towels, ice machine broken, so no ice!! There was a kid working in the front office that couldn’t help in any way, this place needs some major repairs, and I will never stay here again, and I suggest no one else does either! The smoke alarm was missing in my nephew’s room next to ours, wires hanging from the ceiling, the “security door” didn’t latch!

A complete nightmare Pulled in and the entire parking lot was being ransacked. A unit of probably 20 guys were smashing windows, stealing belongings inside, and actually taking apart the cars for parts. The front lobby of the motel was locked - we had to check in through a tiny little window. For obvious reasons, we didn't want to leave our car in the lot as every other car was getting destroyed. We begged and pleaded for a refund as we obviously couldn't stay there while there was a major active crime scene happening throughout the entirely of the parking lot but the extremely rude and unhelpful receptionist wouldn't budge on helping us at all. We talked to a few cops a few blocks away that said that's how this place always is and they would never stay there. This place was a real life nightmare. Do not give them your money.

Won't stay again We stayed here for three nights, on a trip with our two service dogs. We reserved our room two months ago because we had planned on going to a drag boat reunion, which ended up being canceled due to the pandemic, not a big deal. We arrived, and paid the 100 dollar deposit, which I paid in cash, but the front desk lady was rude and said that she wanted a newer 100 dollar bill instead of the one that i handed her, which wasn't damaged, it just wasn't new. Other than that, check-in was easy. We reserved a handicap room, but when we got in, the room wasn't clean, towels were dirty, and handicap rooms never use bath tubs, they are usually equipped with a walk in shower. Size of the room was decent for the money. But every night, there were some VERY questionable people in the parking lot, and a homeless man living in his car in their parking lot. When I brought it to the management attention, they said they felt bad for the guy,and don't get me wrong, I feel for these people, but they shouldn't allow homeless to camp in their parking lot. Secondly, all three nights, there were people walking the halls ALL NIGHT long, having unauthorized guests in their rooms, etc. But at the front desk when checking in, they make it clear that NO visitors are allowed, etc. We barely slept due to the constant commotion of people going in and out of the rooms .....lastly when we checked out we left at 6am, but they said we would have to come back at 930am to get our deposit back, but we couldn't stay that long!!! Basically their reception employees are rude, and don't apply their rules of no visitors, they don't care about your safety, they don't adhere to handicapped accessible guidelines, and they need to train their maids to do a better cleaning job, especially when there's a pandemic going on right now. My advice, stay in a motel 6, pay a little bit more per night and stay in a nicer place
