Pleasant surprise! We stay in the Barre area frequently for Norwich hockey games. We've driven by the Hollow several times and wondered about it. We booked a room for a last minute trip and were pleasantly surprised! Easy check-in and the proprietor is very nice. The room decor is dated but everything was clean and functional. I am a housekeeping supervisor and it passed my inspection! Beds were comfortable, and the room was large with mini fridge, coffeemaker, microwave and a separate counter with a sink and two-burner cooktop. Soap, shampoo, lotion and tissues were all provided. There was even a small patio at the back. We will definitely stay again.

Please fire oggy he's the worst This is the worst motel when I got there the the room was still nasty I cleaned it my self because it was to late to get a staff but the next day I told this person named "oggy" the problem he was an an asshose he whent at me for 30 minutes when I tried to speak, he just interrupted me then he slammed his door in my face but then I told this other worker Lisa she was really nice and helped me out so if anything I would fire oggy I read other reviews the ones that talk about oggy are all the same that he's a mean/lazy worker

Not sure how to title this Had a bit of a rough go with this one. Stiff mattresses, pretty flat pillows, honestly felt we slept on the floor. We were told no breakfast or pools due to COVID - but others in the area were offering these amenities, not individually packaged anything, and the lobby wasn’t even open to hotel patrons. Disappointed.

Don't stay here Checked into my hotel at 2pm heading to Burlington so I wouldn't have to bother the staff late. Got to the room at midnight and found the sheets slept in, unchanged, stained, dirty towels on the floor, the tip for the "maids" still on the night stand with their key. Tried getting to the lobby (locked) stood outside for 15 minutes in 10 degrees to try and call the front desk off their phone which does NOT work. Had to hold down the phone and call with my cell phone only to be denied a refund and am currently waiting while he "cleans" the room. Changed the sheets and left. Soap is still used in the bathroom, dirty towels still on the floor and 0 compensation. Will never stay again and will warn future Vermont travelers to stay away. Highly disappointing.

Filthy room with friendly service The man at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. Door lock was tricky to operate. Window was cracked. Room was nice and large but had a very bad smell. We went to a local drug store to purchase disinfectant/deodoriser. Carpet looked dingy, Bathroom door did not close. We stayed here because no other motel was available. We are not fancy people but in our opinion this place was pretty bad. Breakfast was okay, basic cereal and juice thing. Coffee was good.
