Decent property with correctable issues. Hotel staff pleasant. Bed comfortable. Hotel clean except for a few crickets in bathroom and dining area. However...no hot water at 3:30pm on a Friday afternoon so cold shower after round of golf in 95+ degree weather. Was told maintenance man had left. Offered to switch rooms but declined--checking out the next morning. And--they'd recently changed TV systems and directly inputting a channel number didn't work. Called manager on duty--she said she was as confused as I was and had no idea how it worked. I literally had to manually scroll through every channel until you found something you wanted to watch. Wound up watching the replay of a high school state championship of a few years back. Bummer.

Excellent experience in Bastrop Highly recommended. Stayed here during Round Top week with a baby and they provided a nice clean complementary crib for our stay. The room was remodeled, clean, comfortable and was a good value for the money. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place to stay! Very clean hotel with helpful and pleasant, well presented staff at reception and breakfast. We stayed here while having business in a nearby town. Location was great and we couldn't have had a better stay.

Ok hotel. Good location snd bed Fair value. Friendly reception. Good room, clean, beds, and breakfast. Internet out, TV not working, desk chair broken, other chairs soft and worn. Needs attention. Would not return is other locations available. Good convenient location to city.

Avoid this hotel!!! Filthy and dilapidated. The furniture was so beat up and filthy we weren't comfortable sitting on it. One room smelled so bad that we looked for something dead in it. (The front desk's response was to give us a can of febreeze for the duration of our stay). Don't make our mistake! Avoid this one.
