Days Inn by Wyndham Bastrop

One of the Most Disgusting Places I've Stayed This Days Inn was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. The lobby is shabby and the breakfast setup looked like something I would not even get close to when we were planning on eating a quick breakfast before checking out. The young man at the counter checking us in was very courteous, though. We then went to our room, walking up a very ugly stairway area and then past the several rooms to ours. The walkway needs cleaning, painting, and screens on windows fixed. Our room needed repainting, old smoke smell removed, and furniture update. The wood of the cabinet holding the refrigerator was sticky, hopefully just from using the wrong cleaning solution, needs knobs replaced as they were missing, and fixing of the shelf where the refrigerator was sitting. The frig was almost all the way through the shelf and on the floor. The fire detector was missing it's cover so not sure if it was even working. The bathroom door had damage to it. Otherwise the room seemed as clean as it could be with all the old, damaged items. The bedding was fine except the blanket was old and "krispy," again, hopefully from too much cleaning or wrong solution. We did not pick this hotel as a friend did for several of us wanting to stay at the same one. We had other choices in Bastrop of hotels that were less expensive that weekend and newer. We really wish we had chosen differently and were very sorry to spend what we did to end up staying in such a disgusting place. I'm surprised Wyndham has their name attached to this place.

Great clean place to stay My experience was a good one for the value. It was cold, clean and dark, perfect for inducing sleep!

Cockroaches, Mold & Stained Bedding! WARNING! COCKROACHES & MOLD!! Our room had a pest intestation, mold on the celling and stains on the bedding. Cockroaches appeared within 5 minutes of entering the room. The room we were moved to was equally as filthy. Mold, pests and dirty stained bedding. I am pregnant, it was late with all other motels booked, we had no choice but to stay and were not given a refund. The management just yelled & laughed at us. We had our young son with us too. I have never seen such filthy conditions. We will be calling the environmental department. DO NOT STAY HERE!!

good place for us At first, we were a little leery but turned out to be the best place for us. Just the foot traffic seemed off. nice large room, very clean. could use new larger bath towels. we did not eat breakfast there. Maybe pruce up that area

Disgusting The room was disgusting. Mold and blood everywhere. Everything was broken. Bad covered in cigarette burns. Air conditioner. Stunk when used. Chair in room with sliced up with a knife. The ceiling in the bathroom was falling in and covered in black mold. The curtains were covered in black mold, and had blood smeared on them. There was a hole in the floor under the refrigerator, so it rocked back-and-forth. The smoke alarm had been ripped off the wall.
