Great place to stay, just be cautious My wife and I with another couple stayed here on a whim while headed to Maine. Making reservations was very easy. The reservation was made literary hours before showing up on Father’s Day weekend. The staff is very professional and the hotel is very clean. The continental breakfast was very enjoyable. The small issue is l was told we would have a room with a river view. We did sort of. It seems some of the rooms on the second floor have the awning blocking part of the view. Room 206 see photos. While our friends were in room 118. The only issue is that it is right next to the kitchen. So, when they start making breakfast you will be aware of it due to some noise from the kitchen. Both issues are minor but sometimes the small issues upset customers. Over I enjoyed my stay. I would and will stay here again. I have contributed some photos. Bath Maine is a great little town and the Hampton inn is a great place to stay. Pool, exercise gym, business station. Continental breakfast, friendly staff and clean comfortable rooms. Go and enjoy your stay.

Check-in impossible I wish I could give this hotel 0 stars. It says on the website that one can check-in with 18. When I arrived, I was told in a very impolite way (the receptionist as well as the cleaning lady) that I am unable to check in. They immediately canceled my reservation and I had to find a new place to stay… ended up driving 1h back…

Good hotel, good location Nice hotel in downtown Bath. Got upgraded to a view of the river which was very nice. Walking distance to a few restaurants and shops on the main street. Otherwise, nothing bad to say. Standard, clean, hotel room. Front desk folks were kind and helpful.

Hilton+Hampton Inn do not take responsibility for terrible on line third party reservation company I booked through World2MeetDirect, which showed a $ 242/night room rate and at the end of the process, added $ 174/day in fees and taxes. A medical emergency made it necessary to cancel our two day stay. Hampton Inn told me they could not cancel or refund because the reservation was made through a third party. Hampton knew of World2MeetDirect but could not provide any contact information for that company even though it accepts bookings through them, and denied any responsibility. It turns out this company is located in Spain and makes it very difficult to communicate with them, for simple reservation changes, like cancellation. Hampton Inn, a Hilton company, which receives revenue from World2MeetDirect, takes zero responsibility for this very poor service

An Immaculate Hotel Where Hospitality Rules We had the good fortune to book a stay at this hotel for six nights, based in part on the reviews found on this site. We had two rooms, one for a friend and her husband, another for my father and myself. My friend is extremely demanding, and in notorious for cleaning hotel rooms herself when she checks in, right down to the air conditioning vents. She reported that her room was one of the few occasions where she found no traces of dust or dirt. The entire hotel had a feeling of comfort and cleanliness, which may have been an even more impressive feat because it is pet-friendly. Our room was spacious, the handicapped-accessible bathroom was convenient and and clean, and the mattresses were extremely supportive. All in all, we were more than comfortable Everyone was extremely friendly and accommodating, from the management to the front desk, to the housekeeping service, some of whom wore t-shirts that said "Team Bath." "Team Bath: seemed to be a more than appropriate term, because of the way everyone worked together. These were people who did not just respond to our requests, but who affirmatively went out of their way to ask us if there was anything they could do to make our stay better. In the event I return to Bath, this hotel would be the first one I would check out.
