Hampton Inn Baton Rouge - I-10 & College Dr.

Pretty Good Overall Experience This is an older hotel but it is in very good condition. Check-in was great from a very friendly team. Breakfast was fine, and typical for a Hampton. My only complaint is that the traffic noise from the Interstate is a bit much. Fortunately we had the air conditioner on so that created a constant hum that helped.

Bring earplugs Everything here was just fine except the noise level in the rooms. The noise from the highway didn't seem to be buffered at all. It was a miserable 4 nights. When I went to ask if I could possibly switch rooms, I was offered ear plugs. Friend in room across hall reported it was also very loud. Avoid.

EXCELLENT SERVICE I would highly recommend this Hotel to others. Very clean hotel. The room was perfect. The King Size bed was extremely comfortable. The staff was amazing. Very friendly and very professional. The Hotel is conveniently located close to many great restaurants. It is also very close to the I-10 which makes it very convenient to get to and depart. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

A good night’s sleep A quiet and comfortable 1-night stay. Overall thoughts: - friendly and helpful staff - clean room (though there was something on the floor near the bin — food? — when I arrived) - smaller than the sort of rooms I’m used to with Hilton — especially the bathroom, as others have noted — but it still had everything I needed (except shower gel — so make sure to bring your own if that’s important to you) … and it was one of the best showers I’ve had in a long, long time: water pressure and temperature were perfect! - large fridge, which I always welcome - loved the cute little nook area for “work” and the well polished wooden closets - also loved the little welcome note on the water upon arrival :) - this is one of the first hotels I’ve ever seen from Hilton that offers smoking rooms: when I checked in, I double-checked I wasn’t going to be subject to one of them and found out that only the top floor (out of eight floors) is designated for smokers, so I felt a little bit better about that - I could definitely hear the constant hum of traffic along the highway from my room all night long, but I didn’t mind it so much and it kind of lulled me to sleep - only really two restaurants within walking distance, but I didn’t try either of them I’ll be back!

Very nice hotel I stayed here while working in Baton Rouge for a couple of days. The front desk staff was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. The room was very clean and comfortable. Everything was fresh and clean. House keeping does an excellent job. I will definitely be staying here again!!!!
