Strong 3.5 The hotel is clean and well maintained. The King room was a good size. The mattress and pillows were good. There was only one chair at the desk, no other seating space. The A/C did not work and the phone receiver was unplugged. The manager was able to fix both. The bathroom has a deep drain in the middle of the floor. This was problematic in the dark at night. The A/C is at the foot of the bed and blows directly onto the guests. Water pressure was low and it took a long time to get hot water even though we were on the first floor. The toilet paper was thin enough to read through. The business center is in a private room. The fitness center was small. The only bike is the the dreaded Peloton with the wedge seat. Because of the small room size there was not a good place to lay down rubber mats for floor work. The breakfast was well stocked and well attended. The desk clerk was friendly and professional.

Needs a revamp- building and staff One of the worst Hampton Inns we’ve ever stayed at. I selected this location due to reviews. They are sorely off. Lobby is large and spacious but attention to details have not been checked in a while. The lobby ladies restroom’s wall paper is coming apart at the seams. Our room was very tired and not as clean as it could be. The desk chair was stained and dirty. When I told the desk clerk about it her only reaction was “I’m sorry”. The towels are thin, the lotion was not attached to the wall and the area where it should have been was left. We noticed the same thing on several places with the sticky stuff left on the wall. The staff , albeit friendly, were noticeably not really concerned with their attentiveness. Evening clerk was outside smoking both times I came to ask questions and other times was hidden in back. The morning desk clerk was watching tv on her phone ( head down - not paying attention to the what was going on around her) . I walked up and stood in front of her, not more than 2 ft between us, I stood there about 15 seconds before I said excuse me. She was very startled. I checked out - she seemed irritated that I had distracted disturbed her from her show. The whole place seemed like a tired old hotel - Staff and building.

Unacceptable for a Hilton Property!!! we were there for the LSU homecoming weekend. Upon arrival we noticed that our room had not been clean, the sheets were dirty they were condom, wrappers up under the bed mud in the shower the sofa bed had not been cleaned or maintained. Totally unacceptable for a Hilton property. Not what I expected.

Asked to changed room an it seemed better at first.. but bed was damp an musty.. hairs everywhere.. had roaches in the bathroom tangles up in all the hair on the floor. Tiles broken.. furniture in room stained an soiled .Elevators were sketchie.. dip spit on the floor.. wallpaper peeling off.. old nasty hotel with a nice front desk person. Do NOT STAY HERE! Save yourself the headache, it's not worth your health and your money. After two room changes, the common thread at this place is that house keeping is severely lacking. And also that this franchise owner doesn't care about the upkeep of this hotel. The bathrooms had moldy shower curtains, as well as mold/mildew on the bathroom wall, peeling wall paper, mildew in the caulking of the showers. And gunk visibke in the corners of the bathroom floor. Hair on the bedding and bathroom, used towels in a room that was supposedly cleaned. The hotel overall is dated and needs upkeep, the elevators were dirty and the hallway floors also.
