No thank you This hotel is old and not well cared for. The overall hotel seems more like a cheaper chain than a Hilton property. The hallway smelled like pot and our room smelled like mildew. We would not choose to stay here again. The employees were good and the beds were decent.

I think they've given up. Not recommended. Serious safety and maintenance issues. I'll just list them as my review. The toilet wouldn't stop running; fixed after I adjusted the float level. The AC works; but the cover isn't on correctly, it is dirty, and had leaked water leaving the fabric moulding and wall misshapen. A GFI outlet in the kitchen is broken and flashing red. A switch plate in the kitchen is broken. The dishwasher is not secured. The refrigerator was full of water, likely due to the cleaning staff not closing the door tightly - probably due to the unit being too wide for the space. The doors close, but brush up against the baseboard. Water is seeping up front the kitchen floor (likely due to the excessive water in the refrigerator. (Note: after cleaning up the water in the refrigerator and making sure the door was closed it appeared to be working fine). The wiring in the range hood is a mess with one connection taped with masking tape. An outlet with USB ports is not secured in the wall, pulling out about 1/2 ". The dishwasher is not secured (no screws to the underside of the s countertop brackets). Add that one has to pay for their parking in a lot, I am not sure how this hotel is ranked #11 in Baton Rouge or how Hilton would attach their name to it. I didn't seek out all the items I listed, it was like peeling the layers of an onion...and just finding more.

AVOID THIS TRAP Where to begin? They switched our rooms from the requested and confirmed first floor to the second on the farthest end of the hotel away from the elevator. My wife is recovering from a broken ankle but that held no sway. Our rooms also were no longer together. Then the air conditioner in one room DID NOT cool the room. We had to head out for a wedding and they said maintenance would check it out. 3 hours later when we returned, the hallway was cooler than our room. When I called the front desk I was told maintenance said it was working fine. If I wasn’t happy, I could call back at 11 pm and maybe a room would be released for us to change. O, they also CHARGE FOR PARKING???! Never seen that at this type of hotel. Furniture old, uncomfortable and funky. It’s a shame the owners don’t invest in this place since it’s a great location. We travel often to Baton Rouge since my son is at LSU. won’t be staying here ever again and suggest you do the same.

Roaches and so dirty The only positive I have is the hotel staff work very hard and were all VERY kind. It’s management and Hilton that I blame. The problem I have is the pictures online do not match up in person. I seriously can’t believe this hotel gets 4.0 reviews- it’s a shame for travelers trying to book accurate accommodations. Our kitchen area was filthy and had tiny bugs and roaches non stop. The wall AC unit was falling out of the wall and exposing horrible black mold/dust. The air vents were disgusting and black. Window locks were broken on one of our windows and it wouldn’t lock. Lower your pricing if you are going to charge what you do. We will not stay here again.

Roach infestation Roach infestation! I noticed a baby roach on the dining room table, and decided to wash all the dishes. When I opened the dishwasher there were 3 huge roaches in there. When I went to complain to the desk, the people in the room 2 doors down were there complaining about the same thing! I asked them to spray the entire kitchen, but they only sprayed under the counter. The next morning I found more roaches! I complained again and asked them to spray. When i got back to the room that evening more roaches!!! These were German roaches!!! I’ll never stay here again! Disgusting!!!
