Good stay Great sleeping. Excellent breakfast. Very helpful staff. We had a little confusion at check in but the staff was very understanding that it was their problem and not ours. It was solved to our satisfaction. We will stay here again if we are in the area.

Great hotel Very nice hotel, pleasant staff and spa/whirlpool was terrific after along drive. Room was great. Very good selection of restaurants nearby. Will stay here again on our annual trips south to/from Texas for the winter

Not horrible, but probably wouldn't stay here again. Immediately upon entering our room the smell of mold was very strong and then we realized it was coming from the very damp/wet carpet. I had to keep my shoes on the whole time because my socks would have gotten wet walking on the carpet. Housekeeping was next door and we alerted them and they were very nice and offered to spray our room which of course didn't help much but at least they were nice and offered to do something. We were only staying one night and the hotel was sold out so we didn't ask for another room so that part is on us. My biggest concern was the following morning when I reported it to the woman at the desk who I believe was the manager on duty. I said to her that they need to address this issue before renting out that room again to another unsuspecting guest who might have breathing issues/asthma and her response was "Yeah that's been a problem" so she's obviously heard this complaint before and then stated "We are sold out so somebody will be staying in that room tonight unfortunately." I mentioned this in my survey from Radisson and received a response from their general manager who seemed receptive to addressing it so maybe they have made the appropriate corrections and trained that employee to better respond to complaints of mold and wet carpet in the future.

Wet Socks __ The hotel was quite expensive, $385.86 for 2 nights. The second night I was charged more then the first night. They said it was the market pricing. _ It was a comfortable room but it had some problems. The room smelled like a wet sock. I believe it came from the AC unit. I kept opening the window to get the smell out. That worked only for a short time. Reporting it would not have helped since the hotel desk clerk was not welcoming or friendly and I was only there for 2 days. They do NOT clean the room daily. I was NOT told that they change towels or empty trash and so I had to ask. The breakfast selection was very good. If there are other options in Baxter or Brainerd, esp. at that price, go there instead.

Great Place To Stay In Brainerd Lakes This is a good property. It's not brand-new but it's good. Rooms are clean and pretty up-to-date. I love the walk-in shower that has no curtain...kinda like Vegas a bit. Very friendly reception staff, and the location is great with many, many options nearby. I opt for the 5min walk to Grizzly's across the two lane highway outside. Breakfast in the morning is above average - to great. Lots of options.
