Comfort, Cleanliness and Location The front desk clerk was more than welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the rooms spacious. Many restaurants and stores are within walking distance. The breakfast was nicely presented with a nice variety of items. You will not be disappointed.

Details Matter Pros: Free parking; pool; you can have a room with a view of the river; friendly employees; water and coffee available 24-7; bagged breakfasts to grab and go; wifi was dependable; central location Cons: Air conditioner rattled and made all kinds of noises no matter the setting; sofa was stained; toilet top was chipped; carpet was wet in a high-traffic spot when I checked-in and was too tired to ask for a new room, so I told myself it was water and covered it with a towel until it dried; unidentified gunk on alarm clock, at least the hotel provides disenfecting wipes; remote was missing the battery cover; the desk lamp had rust stains; could hear a lot of noise from the hallway; could smell marijuana from another room; the desk was next to aforementioned noisy air conditioner, so it was extra-lound and cold when I was working. Basically, a lot of small details that would have made a big difference.

Beware…worst experience ever Traveled with Hilton for over 20 years, in a variety of different types of Hilton properties. This was, by far, the worst experience and worse facility ever. The room was tired, electrical outlets didn’t all work, breakfast was extremely limited in its offerings. The worst part was the daytime front desk staff and manager were some of the rudest personnel we have encountered in any Hilton EVER! This is not a company owned Hilton so beware.

Good location Hampton Inn Standard Hampton inn. View of the marsh behind it at sunrise was nice. Usual help yourself breakfast. Fitness center had a bike and a treadmill and some free weights. Major plus was that you could get on the Spanish Moss trail right behind Publix and also that Publix and other stores were walking distance- right next to hotel. Staff was friendly. Air conditioner was appreciated, but soooo loud all night that it was hard to get sleep.

Mostly good. But not all. So many positives...cleanliness, location, breakfast, pricing among them. But the same negative we reported in November 2023. No water at check-in. Again. Bottles unavailable. We read your response then and understood it to mean you would resolve the problem. You did not.
