Better inside It was a great value in terms of money. The rooms are better than you'd think. Spacious rooms with comfy beds. I liked how much room there was to move around. Parking is all behind the building, so I guess that is the only negative thing. To me, it was a good place to stay.

Disgusting would rather sleep in on or around a trash can This is the most disgusting place I have ever stepped foot in and I spent 14 years in the army and deployed to some horrific places. My son had just had major surgery and was told his insurance would cover a hotel close to his doctors since his surgery was several hundred miles away from home and he had to be seen several times to make sure everything was going well. When we got to this place after his 12 hour surgery we decided it was best to sleep in the car. There was blood and God only knows what all over everything in the room not to mention where they placed the mints and hotel brochures after they checked out the last unfortunate victim there was a white substance that had been cut up or spread into lines on the coffee table under and around those mints . This could have been anything and could have killed us or made us very sick. There were holes everywhere, the fridge and microwave were disgusting and we were afraid to touch anything. All night there were drug addicts we assume rummaging thru the parking lot and wondering around cars. There was a camper in the parking lot with trash all around it and people in and out pulling up going in and leaving all night long as well as going thru the parking lot looking in cars and digging thru the trash. There were people with rooms that would show up at all hours, fight in the parking lot and then go to their rooms and continue. There was trash everywhere, caution tape and random stuff all over, the pool was semi filled with dirt and graffiti all over. This place should be shut down and deemed a hazmat zone. The worst place I have ever stepped foot into and I have been to war. I will be letting the bbb, consumer protections, and the health department know the state of this place. Unbelievable that the staff could even put someone in one of these rooms or even choose to work here with the state of this place. They should be ashamed of themselves!

See you next year! We enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year. The room and property was very clean. It provided everything we needed. It was nice to have a microwave and small refrigerator. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was very comfortable and even the shower head was nice! It’s an older place but very clean and the property is well kept. The only suggestion I have is to please provide an ice machine. We will see you next year!

A dirty, disappointing and crappy experience... What a disappointment, we booked this hotel online for our trip to Boy Camp for our son's birthday, and the reviews looked pretty good. The hotel had a pool supposedly, but it was closed due to lack of maintenance and was all dirty and yucky which fitted the state of the rest of the outdoor facility where there were lots of trash, overfilled trash cans, and lots of signs of this hotel not being taken care of or upheld. The room itself was fine and clean like a Motel 6 but not as well upheld with fridge, cable tv, and that stuff, the bed was fine, but the pillows were lumpy and super uncomfortable. The number one safety tip on the sleeve for the key said to use the deadbolt on the door, ours was broken and part of it missing. There was no table in the room so we decided to use the outdoor space with tables and chairs to enjoy our dinner, but it was dirty with lots of trash on the ground. We didn't have super high expectations, but for $160 a night this place is a DUMP, and not how we had hoped to celebrate a kid's special day. Now to see what breakfast looks like, we were told it's to go, so we expect dry bagels/muffins, I hope I am wrong. So we decided to head out early and grabbed the "breakfast" bags on the way out which contained a small orange, a hard mini muffin, and a granola bar, so barely a snack for growing boys as they put it. Needless to say, we went to a nearby store and bought breakfast. All in all a huge disappointment and we will for sure never stay there again, I mean if the owners can't even clean the pool for the 4th of July weekend, seriously _Such a dirty and disappointing place.

Pepper tree stay Clean room and bathroom. Very cozy. Nice staff. Close to the 217 highway. Convenient location for travel to downtown. Quiet besides passing traffic on the highway. Abundant parking spaces and very clean.
