A short trip The hotel is nice but the rooms seems smaller than most Comfort inns we stayed at! The guy who checked us in was very friendly and answered our questions we had! Need a card to get into the hotel doors which is good! The pool is another story! Was cold but that’s what happens when it doesn’t get all the sunlight! The pool was dirty at both ends and really not sure if the people using it are quest! The entrance to the pool is not secured which it should be! Are first night here, had a couple arguing near are room yelling at each other and slapping doors, this lasted for about 15-20 minutes!! Also went you walk across the floor, the cabinets shake and rattled

A so-so stay. Stayed one night for a class reunion in the area. Receptionist could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was varied and filling. The sausage/biscuits and scrambled eggs were tasty. And the orange juice cold and refreshing. Plenty of hot water and plenty of towels. Room was clean. Iron/hair dryer, coffee maker/microwave and small 'fridge made for a nice stay. The building could stand some work being near 50 yrs old if not more. We were on the first floor right next to an entrance door. Every time someone used the door it slammed shut rattling our room! Fortunately, not much used occurred during the night 'til early this morning when guests were loading vehicles and departing. A bit annoying as we could have slept in. Would stay there again but would request a room further from any outside door.

Book elsewhere - Dishonest & Rude I booked 20 rooms at this Hotel for my football team. Few days before check-in, I called and finalized the number of rooms needed - which was 11. The day that my Head Coach checked in, he spoke to Mark at the front desk and said there was 1 less person, so we only needed 10 rooms and not 11 and if it could be possible to drop 1 room without charge, Mark said no problem. Upon checking out, I, the Owner received and invoice for 11 rooms. I called on Sunday and spoke to a front desk Individual, and was told I would have to call back Monday when Luke (Manager) was in. I called this morning and 3 things transpired. 1. The lady who answered seemed like I was disturbing her day, and needs to loose the attitude, 2. The points were never put on the rooms and I need to contact Choice Privilege (sounds like a you didn't do you job problem, not mine) and 3. She informed me that Luke said we will still be charged for the 1 extra room we had, but Mark said no. For me, it's about principal not money. So 1 person said yes, and 1 person said no - and instead of finding a solution, you've gone with the one that makes your Hotel look undesirable. So, I'll be posting to ALL social media platforms, filing a complaint with corporate, and connecting with the executives on LinkedIn. It's a shame, this could have been so easily resolved.

The Reviews Below Make a Good Start. I Should've Trusted Them! This is an older place that needs a foundation-up remodeling. It is an older place that has been repainted. Not remodeled! First, the good: The check-in clerk was friendly. The bed was comfortable. The HVAC was up to the challenge of a below-40F night. The breakfas was adequate. Second, the bad: They must hate Choice Privleges members as the "reserved Parking" for the top three tiers of membership was by a locked door next to the pool. (Key Card wouldn't unlock it. Had to walk around to the front lobby anyways. Room was poorly furnished with only one bedside lamp. (See photo) Clerk at checkout was not friendly or courteous. The desk chair is too low for the desk and doesn't adjust. Third, the ugly. Is there a better way to describe inaccurate -or even false- advertising? See the photo of the webpage for this hotel. It shows a "2-Person Hot Tub" as equal to all the other amenities. Please see the attached photo of the tub in my room. Fourth, the dangerous. There are installations for security lights in thy very dark rear parking lot. However, not all of the lights work. And, some of the car parking ares are a hike to the nearest entrance. Not an ideal situation at night. Summation: I'm getting ready to take a cross-country trip soon. Based on this and other recent experiences, Choice Hotels has slipped from the top of my list. (And, I'm a Platinum level Choice Privileges member...) This place has a bright future as a Kights Inn or an "America's Best Value Inn".
