LOVED THIS HOTEL!!! Let me start by saying I am a New Yorker and have stayed in a few hotels in the Bethlehem PA area. This was my first time staying for more than two days. I was there a week. This hotel is a hidden gem!!! The lobby area was that of a four star hotel! Jadda behind the front desk was so pleasant!! Every day I spoke to her, she was a joy to deal with and very helpful! They have a restaurant right off the main lobby. The food was really good and the ladies that work there were super friendly!!!! Sorry i forgot their names. One of the ladies had just gotten back from vacation to Germany. She was great!! It's not a big restaurant, but they do have a patio area that looked nice. They have free breakfast every morning with a lot of options, they have Karaoke on fridays and a band on saturdays which was a nice touch! My room was 107. Perfectly located and very nice and clean!! The AC was a tad loud but worked perfectly. They have two washers and dryers right in the hallway by my room which was very convenient! $2.00 for each. That was a nice if you were there for any length of time. I was in the area, unfortunately, because my GF son was in the hospital up the street. They have a free shuttle to the hospital, which i thought was wonderful. A special thank you to the shuttle drivers Tony and Melinda! They were so nice and friendly. Overall, I really loved this hotel, and I will definitely be back the next time I am in the area!

Weed If you love the smell of weed the first floor of this hotel is for you. From the laundry room to the hallways to the rooms. Weed. The front desk attendant looked offended that I would bring up the obvious stench and gave me the wrong keys to my room.

GREATLY APPRECIATED in trying times. Traveled 1,100 miles by car non stop as needed to get there as my wife's sister was failing, eventually passing the next day. At first check-in, the young lady was told of our circumstances and she told us instead of the standard rate there was a bereavment rate which I had never heard of, that was $40.00 0ff. Then the Desk Mgr. Doris found out that my sister inlaw had been employed there and she had worked with her, discounted even more with the approval. of the G.M. who also had worked with her. Doris stated once family always family. How much more can a business give in a trying time. This I have never experienced, BUT GREATLY APPRECIATED. Some of the businesses out there should take notice and follow suit. I can't say enough positive things about Comfort Suites Bethlehem as all the empoyees were very nice to us. Thanks Comfort Suites Bethlehem for making atring time more comfortable for my wife and I.

BED BUGS It was a very bad sign when the lobby and hallway smelled like pot. In our room, we found sheets and towels that appeared to be flimsy and not freshly cleaned. There was a hair on the towel. We turned the HVAC on and smelled like burning protein. Finally, the worst of all, we found sheets that had black spots and blood stains and BED BUG crawling on the sheets. This hotel is disgusting! There was a large student robotics team staying in the hotel that night and I wonder how many students brought home bed bugs. I will never set foot in this hotel again!

Location for Stacks & college We stayed here to go to the Christmas market at the Steel Stacks. It was very convenient. We were able to walk. We had a large room, with a king bed & a sofa that had seen better days. The pillows were small but the sheets were clean & soft. I would have liked more blankets. The sink is sort of in the room, like a wet bar. The shower & the toilet are in another room. The shower is huge but slippery. There’s a small rainwater showerhead & plenty of very hot water. They gave us plenty of towels. Even though the hotel was crowded for the holiday & they were hosting a party sleep was quiet. In the elevator I had overheard other guests complaining about their noisy neighbors. We had a peaceful night. Every employee I encountered seemed burned out / overwhelmed. They were quick with a gracious smile when they realized a hotel guest was in their vicinity, indicating a level of professionalism. It was just sad. I could never put my finger on it but there was a sad pallor throughout the place. Breakfast was included. This was probably one of the best free hotel breakfasts I have had since Covid: juice, coffee / tea, pastries, cheesy egg omelets (probably frozen & heated up but it was warm), lots of bacon & a make your own waffle station. Additions were brought out at 9:30 a.m. even though breakfast ended at 10. I never felt pushed out. The meal is served in the Hill to Hill bar off the lobby which looks more like a breakfast place then a bar, although the dark cherry bar back is gorgeous. There’s a Perkins across the street. Behind the property up the block there is a Dunkin Donuts, a CVS, a Wendy’s and in Ideal Market grocery store
