Great Customer Service Glennise at the front desk checkin was wonderful. She really loves her job and does it well, as if it wasn’t even work. So helpful for a last minute stay. She made the stay. Room was neat, dated but fine for what I needed. Was concerned over bed bugs but didn’t see any.

Do Not Stay Here The hotel was absolutely terrible. When I booked the room it allowed me to book the deluxe suite with jetted bathtub. When I arrived we found out all suites are upstairs so that is not exactly accommodating to anyone who is handicapped and wants to stay in this hotel. They should have some on each floor since they do not have an elevator. We get up to out room to find they gave us only the king room with no apologies whatsoever and they did not even offer a refund since the room we paid for was more money being a better room. The room they stuck us in had nothing but issues and they had no other rooms available. The cold sink handle came off when trying to turn on cold water which the sink had none. The shower took about 25 min just to get any form of hot water. The air conditioner/heater only half worked. There was terrible patch work on the walls and the stairs with carpeting looked horendous. The photos on the website looked nothing like what it did inside. It is day 3 of waiting for a call back from the general manager who I was told would call me back and they have not. This resort is an absolute joke. I DO NOT recommend anyone staying here. They truly do not care about customers and the experience they had nor righting a wrong that they made. Comfortable stay Attended a wedding in the area and spent 2 nights here. Check-in was quick and courteous. My only concern was that there was a deposit required but in the end I was not charged on my credit card for the deposit. The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Check-out was quick and professional. The staff was very friendly. A continental breakfast was advertised, but a full breakfast with eggs and waffles were available. The food was good and the staff was great. Quiet surroundings. Convenient parking. Would certainly stay here again when in the area.

Hire some maintenance people. Rundown and dirty. Hallways smell musty and rooms are worse. Dirtiest carpets I have ever seen in a hotel. No screw to hold the lampshade in place so it wobbles constantly in the AC vent breeze. Mattresses are shorter than box springs. Workout room is “Out of Order.” Paint peeling badly from exterior. Outlet next to bed doesn’t work. Closet door doesn’t open. Towel rack and toilet paper holder pulled out of wall. Good water pressure in shower though.

Follow your gut! OMG! I have never had an experience like this. We should have gone with our gut when we first pulled into the parking lot. I guess I really should have paid attention to the fact that I heard Banjos playing in my head. While the building was in need of repair, it wasn't my first concern. The various groups of people hanging out in the parking lot and playing loud foul-mouthed music were immediately offensive. Walked into the lobby, and most of the lights were either turned off or burnt out. We were also informed that a security deposit was required that wasn't listed on the website when we prepaid for our room. We were asked if we were OK with the deposit, and we responded, "Do we have an option?" and told no, why ask then. We proceeded to room, through a rather unlight, dingy hallway. The carpet in the room had holes worn to the floor, and the smell was horrid! Thank goodness they take those deposits to make sure the rooms are kept nice. JD started looking around the room for the source of the odor and discovered an abandoned stirofoam meat container between the mattress and box spring. It had obviously been there for an extended period of time.... gross gross gross. We are out of here!! Front desk personnel states she can't issue a room refund! She calls the manager who claims to issue a refund, including the security deposit, this turns into a multi day affair, including disputing charge with credit card company. AVOID THE VIEW AT ALL MEANS!! Also found it funny the sign thar said food from free breakfast not to be taken to rooms....but bloody meat packages ok to be stored under mattess!?
