Great Place! Great location. It’s very close to grocery stores, The Village,and attractions. We also went to The Barn Bowling Alley and Swim Beach/Ski Beach, and everything was close by. I was pleasantly surprised with the room. It’s very roomy and has a rustic modern feel. It was clean and we loved the full kitchen. Our family of four enjoyed our stay. We would definitely book here again. The pool was a perfect temp. We come to big bear every summer in August. We find most places don’t have AC. This place provided fans and we brought an extra from house. Each room also has a ceiling fan. The place cools down really quick. All the staff were so nice. I called ahead and asked for a first floor due to a recent knee injury. They were able to accommodate. The bathroom showers even had rails in the shower which was a bonus.

Needs updating and a little less cheapness Good location but way out of date. TV's that are out of 1999 no recycle bin in the kitchen. Staff only available only a limited time of day. It was clean. also no AC.

Great value The location of the lodge was great and the pricing of the hotel was an excellent value and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The fourth time at the snow lake lodge. This is our fourth time staying at the Snow Lake Lodge, for me it is the best hotel in the United States, since it has everything you need to spend a pleasant stay, it has an equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, fireplaces, two full bathrooms , sofa bed, two televisions, a jacuzzi, shared pool. We have stayed at other hotels in Big Bear, which are good, but we always return to the snow lake lodge. The staff is friendly and helpful. So it's our fourth time at Snow Lake Lodge, and it won't be the last, since my oldest son, 3 years old, names the lodge as his Big Bear home.

Surpassed Expectations The suite was very clean and had all the amenities we could have needed. The front desk was very helpful, friendly and we appreciated the extra touches to make this a superior stay. Note from my kid: the Saturday morning donuts were some of the most delicious she has ever had.
