Fab hotel I had the pleasure of staying at the Springfield suites in Billings Montana. It wasTruly a pleasant surprise. The hotel was fresh clean and newly remodeled. Everyone that was employed there was extremely the ficient and helpful. Alan checked us in and he was over the top. I highly recommend this hotel as it is centrally located 15 minutes from the airport and right in the middle of Restaurant row. Jackie Vohs

Good Value on Free Night I cashed in 20,000 points for a free night rather than pay the lowest rate of $429. The points were good value, the rate not so. As with all Marriott properties, close to freeway and convenient access. Larger style rooms have more a suite feeling to them. This is a newer property with a Texas Steakhouse in the same parking lot. Decent breakfast, good WiFi, tight parking spots. Fairly quiet being close to freeway. Check out By All Means Brewery about a mile away - great.

Eh The stay was fine. Room was clean. Layout of the room was strange, and felt cramped with the bathroom wall very close to the foot of the beds. The sitting area was nice. Breakfast wasn't very good. Bed was comfortable. Very small pool. With so many choices in Billings, and considering the price of this hotel, this would probably not be one we would consider again...... might consider it if they improve breakfast and give some sort of amenity for being a Marriott rewards member.

Disappointed with my five night stay This did not meet the normal Marriott standards. Very worn and tired carpet and furniture, poorly stocked rooms, employees seemed overwhelmed and undertrained. I should have chosen a different Marriott property. Still no room service with COVID.

Submitted a written list of disappointments at checkout Our stay was a disappointment at best. Issues with policies, personnel and maintenance of property. I gave the receptionist a written list upon check-out, and she seemed less than interested. (See actual paper submitted in my photograph.) No apology, no offer to adjust our bill, nothing. We have stayed in SpringHill Suites and other Marriott properties on numerous occasions and are Gold Elite members. Upon check-in we were not greeted as as Gold Elite members or offered bottles of water like at other stays, even when we were Silver Elite members. Later on I asked a gentleman working the desk about gifts of bottled water and he said they ‘only give them out to Platinum members’. I told him we had always been offered bottled water regardless of our status. He said this property was independently owned and they had their own policies. We didn’t feel very special at this hotel. It gets worse. We were in room 418. 1)The cover on the HVAC system under the window was loose/falling off 2)The room darkening window covering pull to open/close did not work 3)the toilet paper spool was loose/coming off the wall 4)the toilet ran continuously after flushing 5)the WiFi shut down about 11pm - couldn’t get it up again 6)upon check-in we found a used paper cup with liquid in it left on the desk. Additionally, 7)the ice machine on 4th floor was not working (no sign “out of order”) 8)one of two washing machines out of order (sign taped to front) so we had to go to a laundromat in town b/c this was our laundry day on our trip 9)the treadmill I used kept giving me an annoying “error” message 10)every time we were in the lobby the TV was blaring so loudly it was difficult to converse with others 11)we understand about the COVID restricted “Grab & Go” breakfast, but it was slim pickings here - would’ve liked to have had some type of high fiber cereal, protein/yogurt, and fresh fruit. Had there only been one or two problems, they could’ve been overlooked, but nearly a dozen is disconcerting. This property has great potential. I hope they will fix these issues so subsequent guests will have a more positive outcome. I do not feel we received a good value for the $120.80 paid for the one night stay.
