Weekend get away to Frankenmuth A little dated. Missed the elevator while Bring luggage to the room . That being said. Staff couldn't be nicer , room nice size , clean and beds soooo comfortable. Great location of right off the highway 11 min. From Frankenmuth about 20 min from Saginaw Children's zoo.

Wonderful experience The room was great! The desk person Autumn was wonderful. She made our stay perfect. She was very efficient about all of our needs and went above and beyond. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We loved the courtyard view. It was an unexpected surprise

Trifecta of Disasters! Firstly, when I reserved our room, I called the hotel directly to request a ground floor room because my husband has great difficulty with stairs(their website states that you need to do this). When we arrived, there was no ground floor for us and no elevators and absolutely no concern shown by the young girl at the front desk. Secondly, when we entered the room, it was like a sauna (it was 90 outside at 8:30p.m.) Most hotels I've stayed at would have put the air conditioning on before guest arrival. Thirdly, to make matters worse, the toilet didn't flush and there were hairs on the floor and in the toilet bowl. There was no chain connecting the handle to the plunger, so it had obviously been broken for a while. (How do you clean a toilet without flushing it? They must have known it was broken). This room should NOT have been rented out. I didn't bother saying anything until the morning because after such a long day we weren't up to dealing with it at 10 p.m. at night.

Disappointed I like the Best Western brand of hotels but this one fell very short. We reserved a room for one night so we could rest after a long hot day in Frankenmuth and the outlet mall at Birch Run. The parkinglot is in rough shape, no clear lines indicating parking spaces. I use a wheelchair so I was happy to have the double doors open upon pressing the handicapped button at the entrance. The lobby looks great, nice and cool, great place to hang out and socialize if you're here wih a group. Our room looked nice, except there's no door to the closet area, just a shower curtain that you pull back if you need to hang up your clothes. the room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our room did not get cool. It was a very hot room, the air conditioner had not been turned on. When you have a 90 degree day, they could've at least turned it on knowing the room was reserved that day. I let the front desk know but she told us to give it some time. We left for a couple hours but it wasn't much better. We used the pool because we were just so hot. We didn't stay in long. Very cloudy, over chlorinated water and large cracks around the edge of the pool. The wobbly railing going into the pool is dangerous. We found hair and bugs in the water. We went to shower after swimming and there were only 2 bath towels. No hand towels, no washcloths. Finally at 9:30 pm, we packed the car, checked out and left for home. Overall, it seems this place cuts too many corners.. We won't be staying here again.

Stay elsewhere Absolutely nasty hotel room. I wish the reviews were more honest. Rooms are poorly lit with visible staining on the walls. The room was very damp to the point where the carpet and sheets felt wet to touch. The room smelt unbearably musty, like nothing I ever smelled. The room was small and outdated. The fridge made noise all night long. The pool was so cloudy I couldn’t see the bottom, not sure if it was chemicals or dirt, either way it was off putting and I didn’t let my children swim. The breakfast room was not the cleanest and choices were limited. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unfortunately and will never stay here again.
