Great stop on way to beach! Our family stopped here on our way to the beach. The hotel is so convenient to I-65 and restaurants. Our room was exceptionally clean and hotel seems to have been recently renovated. The staff is friendly - Faith at the front desk texted me after we’d settled in to ensure the room was in good order. She couldn’t have been more friendly and even printed out tow truck companies for us as we had car issues right before arriving. The hot breakfast was great - options were waffles, eggs, breakfast potatoes, cereal, fruit, yogurt. Nice coffee bar as well. We will stay here again on our way down to the beach! Thanks for the excellent accommodations and service.

HAMPTON INN BIRMINGHAM I-65/LAKESHORE DRIVE This hotel is conveniently located when traveling on I65. The rooms were clean. There was ample parking. Good place to stop during our road trip. The breakfast was lacking. Not as appetizing as most Hampton Inns. Several empty containers more than an hour before closing.

Unfortunate Stay The hotel is nice but unfortunately had patrons with very loud music and quite a number of ladies of the night. After 3 calls to the front desk they finally had the police come but they left the room before they got there. I went to the lobby at 2:00 am and there was a lot of couples coming in and out.

Did well for a 1-night stay At the end of the road next to the highway. No carpeting in the rooms (a bit unusual). Nice layout of the room and bathroom. Friendly staff. Because it is close to I-65, you do get some traffic noise if your room is on the east side. No restaurants within walking distance. Thought the price was high.

Car alarm We were satisfied with the hotel but after an employee’s car alarm went off for over an hour outside our window and the front desk were no help in solving the issue, we will not stay here again. We called the front desk 4 times and the lady said the employee needed to finish up work and could not move his car. When asked if I could talk to a manager she said she wasn’t going to call him on his day off. No apology and not concerned about trying to solve the problem.
