Quirky hotel that's worth the stay Awesome view of the city from the 7th floor! Wonderfully comfortable bed & pillows, AC worked, rainshower shower head, wonderful restaurants close by & easy walking to the UAB School of Health Professions where my weekend course was. Easy to deal with valet parking at a reasonable rate (shoutout to Marci...you're a doll & thank you for your kindness!). Truly made my Birmingham stay more enjoyable!

Great Valet Staff...Hotel Less than Ideal I would say the best part of our experience was our interaction with the valet, Marci. She was incredibly helpful, friendly, and a great conversationalist. As far as the hotel, our impression was less than ideal. We tried calling the hotel multiple times before check-in to ask about parking, and we always got a message that said the front desk was unavailable. However, when we arrived, there were five staff members just standing there with no one they were attending to. They were all very friendly, though, and helpful at check-in. It's a cool old building that they have made an effort to update, but it's all on the surface. The elevator was rough, and the down button on our floor didn't work. There was a note to call the front desk, but well...that didn't work before. The shower was dirty. The windows are super thin, so we heard all the street traffic, including the 1 am motorcycle rally, in the circle. The bed was comfortable, but because the thermostat was locked it was a bit warm in the room. It wasn't a horrible stay, but it wasn't what we expected based on experience with other Hotel Indigo locations.

Great Downtown Hotel Beautiful old hotel in downtown Birmingham Alabama. Perfect location as far as ability to walk to restaurants and photo worthy sights. The front desk manager Edwena was very nice and helpful as well as her assistant ( who’s name I forgot). The valet Marci greeted me as soon as I drove up and helped me with my luggage. She was very professional and nice. The room was spacious, beautiful and clean.

Had great time Marci was excellent. She took great care of us. I asked to take care of my new vehicle, and she did just that. She was timely and courteous. I would recommend her service to anyone. She was not there in the morning; it was someone else. However, we did leave a big tip, and I hope she got it.

Marci the valet is very nice , beautiful hotel Beautiful hotel in a nice location! Downtown is a sight to see at night! Very very nice employees and managers! Marci , the valet driver was very efficient and welcoming! Keep her around, she’s definitely great at what she does! She was very informative, made our stay great
