Hotel is horrible! Do not waste your money or time by staying here! Do not stay here. This hotel is horrible. Supposedly flooded & canceled reservation but never contacted and found out about the cancellation when standing in their lobby. Now credit card has been charged over $400 in late fees. Diamond Hilton member but does not matter! Status does not get you anywhere with this hotel. We have tried for over a week to contact the hotel. The phone number is either out of service, the voicemail is full, or no one answers. Absolutely ridiculous.

Redmont Hotel Birmingham Alabama- Kevin Ludke Valet- excellence on display! Once again another wonderful experience at the Redmont On behalf of Cadence bank- Wow. What an amazing place to stay- we had a business function with people coming in from all parts of the country. I wanted to start off with the TOP NOTCH valet and front door staff. Kevin Ludke runs a a tight ship! Christopher McCoy, Lester Russell, Cole, and Sam West opened the doors for us - helped us with our luggage- and were great hearted people to talk to!! Also, every morning Kenyada had a fresh pot of coffee ready for us - asking about our day. Her smile lights up the room!!!! In addition Shvronna, Nia, and Tyra were the absolute sweetest and most accommodating people! Our bank is beyond impressed! You can really feel that they are family- the hotel is elegant - the food was amazing, and the rooftop area really allowed us to connect with our teams. The bartender was the nicest person as well. We look forward to staying again. All of those reading reviews- believe me when I say- your stay WILL be amazing. Thank you to Eric Pollard for running this hotel with grace so we could do businesses professionally and also have a great time and the end of the day! And thank you for employing The best Valet staff in the industry!

Nice, old, friendly If you like ‘old & charming’ it’s great. The staff was friendly, the bed was very comfortable. Room was pretty quiet. The water in the shower never actually got HOT, but was tolerable. Sadly, my view was the ac unit & a dirty brick wall. I wish I’d read up on the parking situation first. It’s in a heavy traffic area & very limited space & no time to determine what you need to do when you’re actually driving up. You can really only see the valet spots. They were nice & helpful, but I would have preferred to self park.

Disappointing I looked at the overall rating of 4.5 before selecting this hotel, but the most recent reviews of 1-3 were more accurate. The women at the front desk were nice, but the hotel itself could use some TLC. The elevators were dirty with the same dirty napkin balled up in the corner for my entire stay. One elevator is missing a panel that allowed the beeping from floor to floor to be most unpleasant and ear-piercing. The restaurant had no customers, but plenty of fruit flies to share your meal with you. Some of the chairs in the restaurant were ripped and in need of repair. The waitress was either on something or off her meds. She was so twitchy and disruptive with her every 2 minute checkin that I sped through my meal of over-cooked salmon and fruit fly-magnet salad to escape her. As for the room, it was nice, but not thoroughly clean. There was dust on the light switches, dust on the floorboards. Overall the room was not bad, but not what I was expecting based on the reviews. Additionally, daily room cleaning service is not available, a little tidbit if info that should be posted on the website. Overall my stay was disappointing when comparing the reviews and pics of the hotel online to my actual experience.
