Not at all what is shown. On booking.com there are pictures of nice looking rooms. Instead what I see is the same layout but fairly dirty and the ceiling looks like it’s made of asbestos which the motel is old enough to have. Then there’s the pool it’s probably the smallest I have ever seen it’s fine but it’s state is not it’s very dirty and if your not careful your gonna cut yourself on the sides or some parts of the bottom. Next to the pool there is a pipe there’s something coming out of and on the wall it just so nicely says the chemicals in the area can cause cancer and birth defects and reproductive issues. There’s also the railing by the pool that is the wrong way around which just doesn’t help make the hotel seam like it’s competent. This was the 2nd Super 8 on my trip, the first one was better than this one but still far from the best. Would not comeback ever or to another Super 8 hotel.

Do not stay here The man at the front desk was not nice. Our toilet was plugged and we called the front desk and he told us if there is any damages we are going to pay for it. There was no damages we just wanted the plunger. He arrived later and was not very nice. Our shower was very hot water and icy cold, no warm. I made reservations to stay at this hotel for on our way home and I cancelled. They would not refund me. I will never stay here again.

The Owner should be ashamed of himself... Following an extensive five-hour journey from Los Angeles, my arrival at the Super 8 in Bishop was met with an unwelcoming attitude from the owner. He abruptly informed me that my presence was no longer desired at his establishment. Perplexed, I inquired about the reason, only to be met with further hostility and a directive to resolve the issue through Booking.com. Subsequently, my girlfriend contacted the aforementioned service. Throughout the interaction, the owner's dishonesty was apparent as he failed to provide clear responses to the representative's queries. He falsely accused our huskies of damaging the room, a claim that contradicts the reality that we maintained the room's cleanliness, returning it in a better state than upon arrival. After spending the day hiking, our huskies were too exhausted to cause any harm—a fact supported by our unblemished record of stays over the past five years, during which any such incident would have certainly precluded our return. It's disheartening to witness the owner's readiness to disseminate falsehoods, a tendency that seems to be consistent with the experiences shared in other reviews.

The Owner is a LIAR... Please consider this review before making a reservation: I am deeply disheartened to share that my most recent experience at this establishment was exceedingly disappointing. For the past five years, I have consistently chosen this venue for my three-month annual stays in Bishop, where I was previously greeted with the highest regard. Regrettably, my latest visit was marred by an unexpected and unwarranted treatment. To my dismay, I was informed that my patronage was no longer welcome and that the accommodation of pets was prohibited. This was particularly surprising as I had brought my pets on previous visits without issue. In an attempt to resolve this misunderstanding, I reached out to Booking.com for assistance. A representative from Booking.com kindly contacted the property to inquire about the refusal to honor my reservation. The property owner alleged that during my last stay, I had caused considerable damage to the room. Upon further questioning, it was revealed that the supposed "damage" was merely the presence of dog hair on the floor. This claim was promptly challenged by the Booking.com representative, who noted that not only was dog hair not indicative of damage, but I had also paid an additional fee for the presence of my huskies in the room. Confronted with these facts, the owner could not provide a satisfactory explanation for his accusations. I must express my profound disappointment in the owner's conduct. It is disconcerting to have my character called into question, especially when I have taken great care to maintain the cleanliness of the room, often leaving it in a better condition than upon my arrival. I address this message directly to the owner: How can you assert that my huskies or I have caused destruction in the room? Regrettably, you would resort to disseminating unfounded rumors and falsehoods. You ought to reflect on the gravity of such actions and the impact they may have on someone's reputation.
