Budget Friendly Hotel in Black Mountain My family stayed for two nights in room 205. For the price, it’s an excellent option to spend a few nights in. The room was clean and spacious. The shower was clean as were the linens. The continental breakfast was on par with other, more expensive, hotels I’ve stayed in. While they may have been short staffed, the employees that were working were incredibly friendly! Would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice for a night Nice place for one night. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast was normal for this level of hotel. I was afraid to sit in the desk chair in the room, and the chairs in the breakfast area. I weigh 200 pounds and I thought they would collapse. There is a Hampton nearby.

Nice hotel for the price Typical older QI but clean and safe. Very good pricing with Choice Hotels member discounts. Great location close to grocery, restaurants and lovely downtown district. Wud stay again. Pool area was small but clean and nicely kept. Front desk staff very nice.

READ THE REVIEWS!! We checked in about 9pm after being on the road all day. The woman behind the counter was rude from the beginning. But we brushed that off. However, once we got to our room, IT WAS DISGUSTING. The wall where the trash can was looked like someone threw up on it, there’s a huge black spot on the wall by the door that looks like black mold, there were black stains on the bath towels, the wall between the bed and the bathroom- I don’t want to guess what was smeared all over that one. Also, the AC barely cooled our room. All this being said, it looks like the hotel was renovated not that long ago. But, definitely not clean!!

Check for cleanliness Ok so I gave you a 3 but hovered over the 2!! The front desk person was very kind but out of touch with his cleaning crew. We left to go have breakfast at Denny’s next door and came back to our rooms being only partially stripped. They ONLY stripped the bed we slept in. The reason I slept in that bed was because the other bedding was dirty!! Yellowed stained sheets with blood streaks, gross! Same with the towels my friends. Any towel stilled rolled up is left and not cleaned. Just a FYI
