What Happened to Your Breakfast?????? What happened to your breakfasts????? We travel extensively and stay often at the Homewood Suites Hilton brand because of the full fridge/microwave/suite room combination and delicious breakfasts. We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights and were extremely disappointed in the “new” breakfast – tacos (and I mean tacos like you would have for lunch or dinner), scrambled eggs that were tasteless dry pellets, pre-fab omelets, NO waffle station, and the fresh fruit consisted of whole apples, oranges or bananas! The Homewood Suites we had previously stayed at (and this was in April 2024 in the Cleveland, OH area) had delicious creamy scrambled eggs or various kinds of frittatas/egg casseroles; fresh strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, cantaloupe, honeydew and pineapple; and most important to my husband the make your own waffle station. If this hotel represents the “new” Homewood Suites breakfast, you can be sure that we are going to re-think staying at this brand. That stated, the saving grace of this stay (because believe me I thought about going to another hotel) was breakfast staff Maggie who was quick to say that Homewood Suites is trying new breakfast items with the tacos, said that they were very tasty, and actually heated up a delicious tomato/spinach/feta cheese personal egg casserole for me when she heard how disappointed I was with the breakfast. I saw her do this for a couple of other guests who were also voicing their disappointment with the breakfast. On another day Maggie shared just-heated banana nut muffins with me and others. Maggie was hearing what guests were saying, and was trying her best, in an incredibly kind and diplomatic manner to meet their expectations. That’s what I call guest care!!! I am giving this hotel a rating of 5 stars because of the amazing, AAA+++ 100% guest care Maggie provided to not only me and my husband, but other guests who were very disappointed in the breakfast selections, particularly because we had all expected much more from a Hilton Homewood Suites. Maggie deserves a raise, or at the very least a bonus, as I am sure because of her guest care, kept many guests from leaving.

Below Average Hilton Property Very disappointed in this Hilton affiliated hotel. Not up to Hilton standards in the least. Checkin was rough, no rooms at all ready by 1pm. The parking lot was empty and I would assume that at least one would have been cleaned for a diamond member. Finally got a text telling us a room was ready on 4th floor. Got up to the room and it was freezing cold and thermostat was broken. Windows were nailed shut and could not be opened to warm the room. Maintenance came up and told us to put on the heat to warm the room. Heat didn’t work, vent kept blowing out freezing cold air. Went down to the desk to ask for another room and were informed that the hotel was booked full with a soccer team for the whole weekend. Another desk clerk walked up and saved the day (Courtney) who said they did have another room we could move to. Much better, and the thermostat at least worked. Both rooms we stayed in were dated and felt like they needed a good cleaning. Stains on the sofa cushions, etc. Very poor breakfast. At least we had a fresh banana. We would not stay here again. Hilton in downtown Naples is a much better property.

Never Say Never I never expected to have a worse stay at a Hilton property than at a Red Carpet Inn, but never say never. I spent a most uncomfortable night sleeping on the couch. Planning a trip to Naples with a female cousin, I booked two rooms at a Holiday Inn Express. But my cousin said the Homewood Suites Bonita Springs had a suite with two separate bedrooms available for less than two rooms at the HIE. I checked the hotel's web site and yes, it clearly described a suite with two individual bedrooms. We booked it, and I canceled the HIE rooms. Checked in at the Homewood Suites, walked into our suite and - only one bedroom. Either the reservation system pverbooked the hotel's few two-bedroom suites OR the hotel doesn't actually have any two-bedroom suites and is using that description as a bait-and-switch to get travelers in my situation to book with them rather than a competing property. I actually had a more pleasant night at the Red Carpet Inn. So if you're traveling with a member of the opposite sex who isn't your spouse or your bestie, book two rooms elsewhere. Don't believe the room descriptions on the Homewood's web site. And the hotel only has one elevator.

Excellent Hotel Stay near Naples, Florida This is a great place to stay in the Naples/Bonita area. The hotel is clean, suites are a god size and the staff are great. A bigger breakfast & evening social choice (plus a return to the old style 4 nights per week with hot meals), together with a computer and printer in the business area would make it even better.

Fabulous stay Isabel was wonderful at check in, room was clean, cool and spacious with everything you need. Full size fridge, stovetop cooking, microwave and kitchen accessories. Shower had good hot water pressure with all liquid toiletries on the walls. Breakfast was fully stocked with many options hot and cold. Check out was great and Juli made sure to thank us for staying with Hilton and asked us how our stay was.
