WHAT DINNER I've tried for for over 2 weeks to get my bill straight. They charged me 100 dollars for a supper I never ordered. I was only there one night and didn't know they served dinner. I wouldn't have known about breakfast if I hadn't called to cancel my wake up call. Someone who works there must be using people's cards as I also read other people having money problems from the same motel. Forget the manager calling you back because I'm still waiting. I don't mind paying something I owe but I don't owe for a dinner that I didn't know existed. The only thing I was told when I checked in was my room number and that was it. Paula

Choose a different hotel The staff members at check in were warm and friendly. The hotel and its room furnishings are dates and need to be updated/ replaced. Was in 5th floor , very musty smell in the room and hallway. I suspect it won’t be a HI for much longer. Skip it, should have know when it was among the lowest price in the area. Never once did I see any house keeping staff. The manager walked around with AirPods in both ears, chatting on phone. Most staff were dressed unprofessional

Old Tired and Disappointing. We have stayed here 3 times but won’t be staying in the future. This hotel is old and tired. The hallways have an odd odor. The ac unit sounds like a jet engine so wakes you up every time it revs up. The bed is comfy. There are no amenities in the room despite this being a Holiday Inn (not an Express) - no note pad or pen, no shower cap and no extra TP. The furniture and vanities are dinged and worn looking. The staff is EXCELLENT and frankly I don’t know how they can be because the hotel is understaffed. In our last stay there was one person at reception checking in a line of people. We waited almost 30 min to be checked in. The hotel doesn’t use the IHG app so you can’t do a seamless checking checkout online.

Watch your bill The bed was very good. This is a no cash hotel so, I had to get change for the laundry center off site. There is a small snack bar with alcohol. All the staff were friendly. The hotel had an odd vibe to it. A lot of construction workers were there. My room was charged for beverages not consumed. If you stay here check your bill because, the restaurant/ bar does not take cash and items are on the honor system charged to your room. Parking was plentiful and near everything. Housekeeping did a good job while we were there but, the table was dirty when I arrived.. The AC was super loud and there was mildew on the wall. The front desk was rocking dead flowers when I checked in and there were still there when I checked out.

DO NOT STAY HERE DO NOT stay at this hotel. I have stayed at many 2 and 3 star hotels as part of a travel sports team so I know what to expect at these hotels. Our room was on the 3rd floor and the entire floor smelled like sewer. No one cleaned the room for the 4 nights we were there (and this isn’t one of those hotels that only clean if requested). We asked the cleaning lady and she said there were too many rooms needing cleaning and she couldn’t get to it. The first morning breakfast wasn’t available because the cook couldn’t get to work. We were given vouchers to Bojangles. The drive thru line was crazy so we tried to eat inside but it was locked. At this point we were cutting it close to our Hawksnest reservation so we skipped breakfast altogether. Breakfast was available the other days but they always had a sign posted that the seating area was closed even though we all walked right passed it and sat there. There were never any knives available. I know that seems petty but little things like this are totally preventable, and there were so many other nonsense things like this that I could go on and on. But whatever, we just buttered the toast with a spoon and ate the waffles with our hands like pizza. There is nowhere to throw breakfast trash away. You hand your trash back to the same lady handing out breakfast. It was bizarre. We asked about washer/dryer when checking in and were told the dryer didn’t work. We were not given an estimated date of when it would be fixed. It remained broken our entire stay. I asked for change to atleast use the washer but they don’t keep cash on hand even though it is a COIN OPERATED washer/dryer. The trash cans were overflowing and went unchanged for days. The employees appeared to be working hard so it seems the hotel is completely mismanaged and short staffed. We stayed during Christmas/New year’s week so maybe they couldn’t handle the rush. I highly recommend staying somewhere else.
