Very nice stay. Friendly staff. Overall we were very pleased with our recent 6-night stay. In particular, the general condition of the hotel and the breakfast has improved significantly since our previous stay in May 2022, at which time the conversion from Holiday Inn Express was pretty new and still a work in process. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was standard Comfort Inn fare, but executed fairly well. Also noteworthy was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, who were all great.

Terrible hotel room We had a 2 queen bed room. The hotel room layout is terrible with no room to maneuver inside the room. The room has very limited space for seating. The room smelled horribly with significant overtones of smoke. There are very limited number of electrical outlets for plugging in phones, watches and laptops.

Don’t bother staying here it’s awful!! The room was terrible!!! Staff not real customer service oriented!! The room had a musty mold like odor and smelled of smoke. This was really bad because I booked a nonsmoking room. When asked about room change no response. The second day I asked for more towels and toilet tissue, the gentleman said “I don’t have towels here and you can come get toilet tissue down here. This is the worst experience I’ve had at a hotel and I’m on a very long road trip.

Good Option - Not Fancy Our King room, on the 3rd floor (310), was clean, roomy and comfortable. Fridge and microwave. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. . We were allowed to check in early which we really appreciated. Conveniently located near restaurants in NOBO and Wonderland Lake.

Decent hotel but we got bait and switched on our nightly rate This is a decent hotel. However, when I spoke to the front desk/manager about adding a third night to our two night stay, she told me personally that since we booked our stay directly through the hotel website she could add the third night at the same rate as the first two nights. When we got home I noticed that we had been billed at a somewhat higher rate so I called to bring this to her attention. Much to my surprise she denied telling me that the third night would be charged at the same rate as the first two nights and would not help me any further. This is a bait and switch situation that ruins an otherwise fine customer service experience. Buyer beware.
