Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Bozeman West by IHG

Great hotel near airport Recently renovated spacious room with small kitchenette area. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Good free breakfast selection. Very clean and people constantly working to keep it that way. Walking distance to a decent restaurant. We wanted to stay by the airport our first night and the shuttle brought us to get our rental car in the late morning (driven by the assistant GM who was so informative about the area and Yellowstone) had a late checkout cleared the night before so we did not have to rush at all. Great stay.

Probably ok if you aren’t too picky Just didn’t have that really clean feel. Not drastic except stains all over the carpet in our room. Beds seemed clean. Bath was old or needed a good scrubbing. Would stay again for price and location. We didn’t try breakfast. 200 min characters are too many!

Paid guests banned from pool use We were at the desk checking in and there were some irate parents and upset children. Apparently, from 4pm until 6:30-7, prime check in time for families, there was a children’s swim camp being held in the hotel pool and no one else could use it! Two hours later, we went to use the pool and it was closed as one of the “swim camp children” had deficated in the pool! We are club members and paid full price for a hotel and couldn’t use the pool. Why not hold the camp from 11-3 when there are few people checked in. This is prime holiday travel season for families. Methinks someone associated with the hotel benefits from this private swim camp.

Great hotel stay in Bozeman and newly renovated rooms too! Best hotel to stay for business trip when in Bozeman MT. Hotel is renovating and I stayed in a newly renovated room and it was super nice! Friendly and caring staff .Hotel was clean and had all the amenities I need while on the road. Great restaurants walking distance to the hotel and its convenient to many shopping places as well. I hope to stay with them again on my next trip.

Bad Management/No soundproofing I waited to write review to see how hotel responded to a situation. It didn’t go well. we were given a room with a connecting door. We got settled in to room and about an hour later someone checked in next door. You could hear everything they said. They were just talking normal. If they turned on TV it was like it was playing in our room. We called down to address with front desk. We wanted to move. we were tired from a day of flying. Couldn’t move us..sold out. Explained the hotel had just been renovated. I had paid using a free night stay. They said they couldn’t discount room but could offer us points as compensation. Ok..we didn’t have any choice. we weren’t given option to check out. We got a few hours sleep. Next morning we spoke to front desk. They apologized and said we would be receiving points for the inconvenience within 3-5 business days. Ok fine. I get back from trip and no points. Call front desk. speak to Marti. she doesn’t see ANY notes but she says she will make sure we get points. 3-5 days. This goes by and nothing. I call IHG and they open a case. They say hotel will contact me..never happens. I call again and IHg calls hotel. They say I was given 500 points day of stay. Yeah that was my IHG amenity choice. I get that every stay. Has nothing to do with my issues. It’s like this hotel just blew off the issues. They have to know they have issues with noise in the rooms. I could hear normal conversation between guests next door. What bothers me is the lack of follow up and total disregard for promises. We were going to stay again at the end of our trip. we stayed instead at Holiday Inn Belgrade…down the road. much nicer stay. Great staff. if you are in Bozeman stay down in Belgrade or pick any hotel besides this one.
