Beach Weekend Very clean and quiet. Pet friendly. Free hot breakfast. The staff is very kind, professional and helpful. The pool area is clean and private. The pool area is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs and patio sets, cabanas and accessible pool/spa lift. The hotel is located adjacent to outlet shops, PGA Golf Superstore, restaurants, etc. It was a 20-25 min drive to Longboat Beach, Lido Key Beach, Siesta Key Beach via downtown Sarasota route. The Ringling was only 6 miles away as well. This hotel was a perfect location for us and within our budget. Free parking too!. 10/10 recommend.

Good value Although this is located almost directly on top of I-75, this hotel is well-run with a knowledgeable and responsive staff and it’s clean. And it’s fairly new with relatively spacious and updated rooms. We also found it competitively priced compared to other hotels within a 30-mile radius. Another positive aspect is its close proximity to a myriad of restaurants and assorted shopping venues. As a result, it’s frequently filled to capacity.

Perfect location. Everything else is as expected from this brand. The location is perfect if you have any business or social event planned in Lakewood Ranch. I was attending a charity event at the golf and country club and the location is absolutely perfect. it was 20 minutes to the beach and downtown Sarasota and 10 mins to Lakewood Ranch Golf and Country Club. The rooms were nice and fairly updated.. The shower head could use an update, rainforest heads with separate sprayers would be nice. Instead, they have the cheap plastic spin adjustable head with low flow equipped. The beds were super firm, I prefer a more medium to soft bed and the pillows were ultra thin The plus side. the AC is one of the quietest I have ever had outside of high end hotels. So for quiet and sound sleeping, that is a plus. Also the room layout is fantastic with a nice couch and chair seating area and a central desk/ TV cabinet that you can see through. very nice room overall. Just need a softer bed and better shower head. Breakfast was OK. typical fare for this type of location. Only complaint there was the lack of bacon. Not a fan of chicken sausage patties. But overall a good breakfast and the staff kept everything filled as needed. Also, worth noting that the hotel sits right in the property of a huge shopping and dining plaza providing great breakfast, lunch and dinner opportunities and enough shopping to satisfy any wife.

Not all Hamptons are created equal Incredible stay at this well-maintained and managed Hampton. From initial conversations with Jonathon at the front desk to the king bed room, efficient housekeeping, quality fresh fruit at breakfast , clean pool/whirlpool, beautiful lobby, and location within walking distance of 20+ stores/restaurants this was the best Hampton we've stayed at in 30 years! Only negative is higher price but in this case you get what you pay for! After an awful stay at the Plantation Hampton last winter we had vowed to never again stay at a Hampton but had the previously refunded points on our account so we gave it one more try. Our takeaway is to look closely at all RECENT traveler reviews at each facility and not depend on Hampton corporate oversight which appears to be inconsistent.

Understanding Management Wins 5 Stars This review is heavily biased by the outstanding customer service we just received from the hotel management. We had stayed here before and were quite satisfied. But two nights ago when we made a last minute booking; we were very unhappy with the room. It was a room for someone with an ambulatory disability and I sure would have been fine in that instance. But the empty ante room to the bedroom and the bathroom arrangement with a walk-in shower sporting a shower bench were aestheically unappealing and depressing. As the hotel was full, there was no other choice so we checked out and went to another hotel. Fully considering and understanding our concern, management was very gracious in their communications and refunded our money. We appreciate the ease with which things were resolved and applaud the high standard of customer service the hotel provided in this instance. We would only encourage the Hilton brand to better identify the difference in a mobility impaired room in their advertisements.
