You take the good, you take the bad and there you have " the facts of life " I was thankful at first to have had a place to stay as a disabled person, however I do have to agree with something's but not all.. yes when I was there only one guest was allowed to use the indoor pool or so he said cuz he was right with the owner. When I was there they didn't offer any morning coffee or frozen breakfast, however the owner to repeatedly lock me out of my paid room cuz his wife failed to inform him of my service animals which are licensed and certified, the local police were called because the owner wasn't going to allow me access to my room he said he was going to have his handy man Dan aka 911 Dan drunk Dan throw my personal belongings in the dumpster and Dan was to release my service animals to the wild.. over my dead body buddy, and anyone looking for a decent motel in the greater Brattleboro area right now, um good luck I'll pray for ya, 95% of them are housing homeless such as myself I'm actually at a much nicer more strick run zero tolerance for drug use or your out kinda deal, and I'm at Travelodge on Putney Rd I highly recommend booking a room here, my bathroom is very clean nicely cleaned tub, big sink and beautiful counter, doesnt smell of any form.of smoke smell, nice tv and free wifi, coffee hot and fresh daily, no breakfast but 99 restaurants is not even a 5 minutes walk from here as well as other restaurants.. econolodge really could do alot better, but at the same time, they.. yeah no they xan definitely eo better, like stick to zero tolerance of drugs like the travel Lodge does, like i said travel Lodge is absolutely beautiful ei honestly recommend booking with travel Lodge, just my opinion..

You Do Not Want to Stay Here You do not want to stay here because the towels, although clean, are super stained. Furniture is worn and old, and the room "remodel" was makeshift. I only write reviews for excellent businesses and lousy businesses. You can guess which this is.

Pass on this hotel...! My wife and I stayed at this hotel from May 31st-June 2nd, and we concluded that this was, without a doubt, the worst hotel we have ever stayed in! After checking in, we were informed that each room was limited to one towel set regardless of the number of people staying in the room (and the room did have 2 double beds, but only one set of towels-bath, hand, and wash cloth...one of each). So we started our weekend with a trip to Walmart to purchase our own towels! Without going into too much detail on the remaining issues, I'm just going to list the rest of the problems, as an explanation would require more time than I care to spend on this review. There were rats within 50 feet of the room door (the dumpsters were "conveniently" located just outside! The mattresses (both of them in our room) sounded like the oldest, creakiest, rusted spring noise EVERY TIME YOU MOVED ON THEM! Plus, according to the couple in the adjoining room, their mattresses were just as loud as ours! SMH.... Adding to the ambience, this particular hotel apparently housed the homeless/drug addicted/vagrant population. (I have no problem helping the down-trodden, however when one tweaker remained bent over for an hour in the same position after doing whatever it was he did, within 75 feet of our room, that was kinda over the top! Additionally, not to be outdone by the tweaker, you could peer through the gaps in the room door (which actually did come in handy, because somebody painted over the security eye in the door!) Moving right along....even if we were to overlook the broken privacy blind and mud/feces? on the bathroom door jamb, the black mold on the bathroom wall, floor, and shower curtain could not be rationalized! Adding to this relaxing environment, although a small item, the shade-less lamp alongside the TV made watching the news a blinding, headache-inducing activity.... Now, with all this being said, the homeless/vagrant/drug-addicted people we met were extremely courteous and quite chatty....to us and amongst themselves....which continued until 2:30 am Sunday morning, accompanied by the ever-present grocery store shopping cart bouncing over every speed bump in the parking lot! Honestly, the best "amenity" this hotel offered was a Dunkin Donuts and Walgreens within walking distance....which came in handy at 5 am when we rapidly bolted out of the place....but not before the adjoining couple loaded up their truck and took off!

Twice a hotel employee unlocked and entered my room without knocking. Paint was peeling, refrigerator & ac/heat door broken, blow dryer missing. Was told their ice machine was broken and that I'd have to wait until the morning for the dryer. The next morning, a hotel employee unlocked my door w/out knocking & walked in twice. Once to verify that the blow dryer was missing and another to hand me the blow dryer while I stood naked ready to shower. Unethical behavior!

Worst place I ever stayed at The room they put in was beyond anything I have ever experienced. The smell of smoke was overwhelming. Outside my room a small group of what I believe where homeless people staying a few doors down. The refrigerator did not work at al,l and smelled so bad. I went back to the front desk to complain, the women at the desk showed me another room it too reeked of smoke, she then showed me another that did not smell as bad. S o I stayed the night After being the room for a few hours I headed to the store to buy an air freshener but even that could put a dent in the order. By now I figured this a motel being used to house the homeless. Not sure why the board of health has allowed this place to stay open.
