Good Price but Loud Neighbors and Paper Thin Walls My friend and I had separate rooms. We were a bit concerned about staying here due to the many bad reviews, but also thought it was a good value and saw some positive reviews. We decided to take a chance. In retrospect, we wish we hadn't. Cons: My friend's room was next to loud rowdy people having loud rowdy sex all night. Another night she was woken up by loud people as well. I don't think it was a prostitute, because perhaps they would've been more discreet to avoid detection. When I tell you the walls are paper thin and you can hear everything, please believe me. I was just lucky I didn't have a loud neighbor. I could hear the TV and shower but when I put in my earplugs and laid in bed, I couldn't hear anything. My towel rack fell off in the bathroom. The towels are rough, thin and small. There are no small lamps. It's either the bright overhead lights or nothing. One night stand was very wobbly. Pros: the price, the manager was friendly and pretty helpful, the facilities were pretty decent for the price, things were clean, there was only 1 person standing outside playing loud music and smoking something at 9pm. Most people were normal and only a few were low end and disruptive to the guest experience. Should you stay here? If you can handle loud annoying neighbors and terrible towels and you want to save money, then yes. If not, no.

Terrible Motel with bad Customer Service Absolutely disgusted at this motel. Says its 24 hour service with check in until 11pm. I checked in at 9.30pm to be told that they cancelled my reservation because I had not arrived by 7.pm. They told me they sent me an email at 5.30pm saying I needed to check in by 7pm. I was driving at that time and was not able to check my emails. A telephone call would have been far better. No other rooms available. I was a female traveling with my daughter. Not a good position to be in at that time of night having to find another hotel so far from home. Which by the way was 8 hours away!

BEST MOTEL IVE EVER STAYED IN........ i picked up a deal on Hotwire that shot out this place. WOW what a pleasant surprise. the young man up front was very congenial and professional. i opened up the door to my room and OMG. it was like brand new. sheets pressed tight, furniture no stains, flooring looked new AND EVERYTHING CLEAN!!!!!! AND WIFI fast with no hassle getting connected. if anyone ever comes here and complains id be shocked or bet it was a lie. DONT HESITATE ON BOOKING THIS PLACE. 100% BETTER IN PERSON THAN THE PICTURES

Low quality high price! This is not a good place to stay, the office staff are unfriendly and the room is very small. The bathroom is so tiny that you can barely have enough room to shower, no bathtub and the air conditioners are so old the room temperature is either freezing or hot. The room was clean but that’s the only positive thing I can say

2 star hotel only the Hyland Motel is only a 2 star property This property is nothing more. this was a business trip- requiring a place to shower and sleep. There is no flexibility for check in time or departure. if you ask for a later check out or early arrival you will be charged $10 for each additional hour. you will also be asked to pay $50.00 deposit in cash for incidentals, assuming you need something. Don't ask. The room was prepaid prior to arrival. when I arrived early- iwas informed that the room would be ready at 3pm. i returned at 2pm-too early. no exception. again I returned to check in at 4pm. i had to wait. I believe the owner and maid and reception is all the same person. after inquiring if I might have a late checkput-i was informed there would be a charge of $10 per hour. . obviously this property relies on hour to hour room rental. If this had not been an expedited business trip, I would have not stayed at this location. The receptionist/owner/maid could have been courteous rather than argue about everything that was discussed. rather than argue -a better retort might have been- Sorry no exceptions. pay by the hour-dont ask-2 star hotel. a bit pricey for the accomodations.
