Comfortable condo lodging in the heart of Breckenridge! This is a a beautiful place to stay. We had a two bedroom, two bath, with king beds, a complete kitchen and living room, gas fireplace, and outside balcony. Kampbell at the front desk was friendly, energetic, professional and personable. He helped us with restaurant selections, and travel advice. Location is perfect, you can walk into town in 5 minutes. Biking and walking trail is convenient. Clean, with all amenities you need. Highly recommend.

Don’t waste your money! Stay somewhere else! I am writing this review as we are checking out at 8:30am on Tuesday, July 2. We were very disappointed in our stay for our family reunion which had 20 people and we stayed 3 nights. Be aware there Is NO AC. They do provide 2 box fans for your room but for a 2-bedroom condo this was not useful. Our fridge was not working properly and we had to move all of our meat to the freezer to keep it safe. Also, we discovered the window valence in the main room was broken and one of the pieces was placed behind the sleeper couch and we had a broken slat in the shades. Also, we were not informed till we checked in on a piece a paper, not by the woman who checked us in that there is no “daily” housekeeping and for a fee you could have housekeeping even if it was just taking out your old towels and garbage. When I called downstairs they said they would send someone right up but took the very rude maintenance man 3 hours to come look at it. When he did get to our room he was very condescending and said the fridge must have been left open as his temperature gun was saying the fridge was in a safe zone but did say moving the meat to the freezer was good to do. Also, we came back to our room every night to discover our room was full of weed smell. We did let front desk know and they said there was nothing they could do if they were smoking outside of their rooms. Mind you, we were on the 3rd floor. We also asked Aubrey at the front desk if there was any kind of breakfast in the resort since there was a large room with tables and catering equipment setup and was told no I don’t think so but you probably don’t want to eat what we make and you are better off going into town to have breakfast. Also, we discovered that there is black mold In the primary bathroom above the door frame that appeared to have been painted over. Upon checking out on 7/2, I explained to Sean of my concerns and he was very apologetic but said we should have called them to let them know of the weed smell we should have called the front desk and I said we we did. For what we paid for our stay, it was quite disappointing and we will never stay here again.

AirBNB next time! This is an excellent location. Unfortunately Vail resorts does not do a very good job maintaining these condos. Upon checking in we discovered the sofa bed was altogether missing the mattress and we were unable to use the bed or the couch for the entire stay. Vail resorts refunded us $400 total, which they said, was the difference between a three bedroom and two bedroom for four nights. Also broken were the coffee maker, two humidifiers, and the downstairs shower drain was clogged, which we fixed ourselves. When we used the sister facilities at One Ski Hill Place - the bowling alley was broken and the pool had zero towels after calls from several patrons. We also discovered that if you walk across Main street to rent your skis, they are 25% of the cost that Vail resorts charges. Overpriced and terrible customer service. Most of the resort is staffed by foreign nationals who are there for a few months to work and make as much money as possible. There’s not a lot of pride being taken in this business from the top down. Definitely will not be staying here again.

A GREAT choice for a family trip to Breckenridge! We booked at short notice a 2-room condo at Mountain Thunder Lodge on the same day. Family of 5 visiting from the U.K. and doing a road trip from Phoenix to Denver. Whilst we (sadly) only stayed for one night we LOVED our condo - super comfortable beds and great furnishings (pictures and ornaments featuring wildlife such as bears and moose). Our 3 teenage boys really enjoyed it! Very convenient secure parking in the underground garage and a 10 minute walk to both the downtown area and the gondola base station. Highlight was a couple of hours spent at the communal pool/hot-tubs. So relaxing and a chance to breath in the clear mountain air. We want to come again!!

First time for our family The accomodations met my expectations. I loved the Lodge and the town. Gorgeous setting. I highly recommend the place for families with kids. Nice to have washer and dryer in the condo. Can’t wait to go back.
