Homewood Suites by Hilton, Broken Arrow, OK Checked in to our hotel. Couch was mildewed and found a dirty towel behind bathroom door. Called desk and was moved to another room which was better. Weather is in the upper 90’s to lower triple digits and was looking forward to swimming (green water) asked desk and said it was fine yesterday but not an experience I would have expected from this chain. Checking out early. Hope these two things will be corrected.

Housekeeping is incompetent. I travel for work and stay at homewood suites Hilton up to 3 months at a time. I have never had such a horrible experience with housekeeping. 5-½ weeks in on a 3 month stay and I have only been able to get housekeeping twice. I have to insist the front desk bring me towels, sheets, dishwasher soup, everything you would need in an extended stay. I have made multiple requests for service. I contacted Hilton online and started a complaint report. They verified the amount of times and told me to call management tomorrow. What a complete waste of time management is the problem and covering for housekeeping. I’m told all the rooms for new guests are cleaned first. I would stay somewhere else. It looks okay on the outside but once you’re locked in to a stay they got you.

Burglarized Car Auto Burglary in parking lot. Thieves smashed window of truck and stole contents. No security guard present. Front desk not responsive. Manager (R. Otis) apparently has access to security cameras, but he didn't answer phone or return call.

Don't expect much This property has simply stopped trying. Wi fi doesn't work Suite doesn't have blankets on beds (much less pull-out sofa materials) No Coffee anywhere (room or common area) Breakfast was burned corn dogs, burned pizza, no coffee, no tea, expired milk, no bagels, instant oatmeal packets without hot water to make them, and dry cereal and bread Business center is an adding machine No curtains on the windows Staff says they expect a replacement coffee machine in a few weeks and that they'll get curtains, blankets, and kitchen supplies for the suites (e.g. utensils, glasses) along with the renovation in a few months. Until then, they advised we have to "just put up with it." Manager does not respond. Stay elsewhere at least until you confirm the renovation has happened. Hopefully the attitude that guests just need to put up with things won't linger. Clearly that attitude has seeped into food service, so I fear it is embedded.

Unauthorized cancellation, lying, and shady practice I wish I could give this a rating of 0, but I had to choose a minimum of 1. We were traveling for the solar eclipse and had made our reservation at this hotel 3 months in advance. When we got to the hotel on the night of our reservation, we were informed that our room had been cancelled by the hotel without our knowledge. They claimed they had contacted Priceline, the booking site we used, and Priceline was supposed to have contacted us about the cancellation (the night clerk's words). That was a complete lie. When we called Priceline, they had no record of any communication from the hotel that they were cancelling our reservation. When Priceline called the hotel for us, the hotel told them they had overbooked and had to cancel some reservations. It was 9:30 pm, a big storm was moving in, every single hotel in the area was completely booked because of the solar eclipse, and we didn't know if our family would have to sleep in our vehicle. The hotel did not offer to help us in any way, and we were left to try figure out where our family was going to spend the night. By some miracle, after calling several other hotels in the area, one hotel had just received a cancellation, and we were able to book a stay, at more than double the price of our reservation at Homewood Suites. So not only did we have the major inconvenience of trying to find lodging last minute, we also had to pay much more than what we had originally planned. We contacted the hotel manager and left a message the morning after the debacle, and he never contacted us back. We are very frustrated with the shady practice of this hotel and feel they should make their error right with us.
