Great value just outside of Boulder This was my second stay at Hyatt House. The hotel scores high on all the standard things -- cleanliness, comfy bed, etc. But the breakfast is really a step up from the kind of breakfast buffet you find at most non-luxury hotels; there are many options, and the hot dishes -- though not gourmet -- are tasty, and there's fruit, a yogurt bar, oatmeal, a variety of breads to toast, and coffee that's easily good enough to get you through your morning. For me, breakfasst was a big reason I came back. The location is kind-of in the middle of nowhere, but it is an EASY 15-minute drive to Boulder, and on the way from Boulder to the Denver airport. And there's a Starbuck's and a great little fresh pizza place just across the street, which is a huge plus. The pool looks fine (I didn't have a chance to jump in) and the outdoor patio is lovely.

Poor House Keeping service House keeping service was ignored during the entire stay after multiple requests. No sponges were available during the entire week. Kitchen garbage disposal didn't work mid-week and it didn't get fixed till the last day of stay. Also, the air condition unit is so loud.

Wonderful hotel! Lovely rooms. Clean hotel. Quiet and safe. Great value. Special acknowledgment to Gina at the front desk. Felt like Four Seasons service at Hyatt House prices! Hotel was accommodating in my room location preferences. Plenty of parking spots.

Not worth the price Paid extra to be comfortable with the kids. The pool hardy had towels and the water was freezing. The room smelt horrible. Definitely not what I expected after paying so much per night. Disappointed

Generally ok facility but decidely quirkey with some serious flaws The staff are personable and pleasant but not very effective. I reported burned out light bulbs on days 1,2,and 3 of a 5 day stay. It was never fixed. While the breakfast is good, it seems like they are always out of coffee. It stayed empty until a guest complained. There was daily maid service but it was unpredictable what they would day. Some days the kitchen was straightened and bed well made. Other days, they did not restock room coffee or creamer and short sheeted the bed. Most of the facility itself is quite nice with spacious rooms, nice facilities (pool, pool table, outdoor gas ifreplace and grills. The one problem with the physicial plant we had was the HVAC system in the room was very loud and the room cycled between being very hot and very cold. Changing the thermostat did not solve it. We encountered two odd occurrences during the stay --- a power failure in the middle of the night (I felt sorry for guests who counted on an alarm clock they set) and a fire alarm just after we settled into bed for the night. While they both were likely beyond the control of the hotel, they never said what happened and if it might reoccur. Checking out the morning after the fire alarm there was no "How was your stay" or even a "Thanks for your business" but rather an abrupt "You're done."
