Embassy "sweet"! What a pleasant surprise as we entered the lobby -- the Atrium with the waterfall on the other side of the lounge made you feel as if you walked into a luxury hotel and not one off I-95. The hotel offers amenities that are often lacking in moderately priced hotels -- a restaurant; bar lounge; and room service. A full service hotel without a full service hotel price. The pet fee at this writing was $75.00 - a little higher than many hotels on the I-95 corridor but I would happily pay it again!

Smelly carpet and loose electrical plates We were welcomed by staff, but just like a robot. My husband brought out the luggage cart which was available thankfully. Upon entering our room, 514, we noticed a rank but familiar smell. The recent rain must have come through the windows and damaged the carpets. We have experience with this in our own home in FL, so even though the staff had tried to cover the smell with deodorizers, it still had a musty and old cellar smell. Upon speaking with her, she said to try room 518. The maintenance guy was kind, checked the air conditioner but nodded his head as I guessed the problem. Back downstairs to the front desk, I asked for a different floor and on the northwest side of the building. I explained the smell. The front desk staff (she) was snarky and replied, “that’s funny, we don’t have any complaints from the lady who just checked out of 517”. I’ve traveled a lot for business as has my husband and knew better than to respond to her rudeness. She told the maintenance man to take us to 328. He was very cordial, opened the door, encouraged us to go in and make sure it was ok. It was so much better, no old fish smell. We went back downstairs to obtain the key. Upon entering the kitchenette I noticed the electrical plate was completely loose from the wall. I know that COVID really hurt the service industry but not only have they raised prices, no longer use real plates, coffee cups and silverware but are still using paper and plastic. It’s time for them to hotel owners to start treating their guests like guests. I’ll be at a different hotel chain next time. My recommendation. Provide her more customer service training and give him a raise.

There are better Embassy Suites…this is not one Love Embassy Suites…just not this one. First room on 4th floor smelled so musty/molding we immediately requested new room. Ended up in room 429 and it was better but still had a musty smell. Lobby area (which breakfast and happy hour) very hot and they had huge industrial fans trying to keep air moving. Breakfast was okay. Typically breakfasts at Embassy Suites are the best. This one serves from 6 AM to 9 AM. Got there at 8:20 and tables needed to be bussed and food need to be replenished. Long line for custom omelette (which to be honest is typical at any Embassy Suites). I like the location and like having 2 rooms with microwave, but I do think I’ll look for another hotel in this area. I think the entire hotel needs a make over.

Nice hotel Very nice hotel. Staff friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable. The made to order breakfast was delicious and evening happy hour had quite a large selection of munchies. The only con was the swimming pool was closed for cleaning and it was a very hot day. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay except for room temp setting by hotel. We enjoyed our stay, hotel very nice, nice rooms clean, good breakfast. Only complaint is room temp set at 70 degrees, so on a hot 95-degree day, we were uncomfortable to the point we could not sleep all night due to heat and humidity outside. Staff was very friendly and Happy Hour was good, too.
