Americas Best Value Inn Buda Austin S

Wet, sticky- humidity on every window on a dry day. WET and Sticky! You can see the humidity on every room’s window. Floor and fixtures feel slimy and damp- sticking to the floor. Didn’t sleep a wink in this nasty wet room. And, it’s not even wet or rainy outside.

Easy stay It was ok. Right next to I-35. Good parking. Easy access to highway. Close to restaurants and grocery stores. Basic room. Clean and comfortable. No breakfast, but there is a McDonald's across the street.

Excellent Value I enjoyed my stay here. The staff was attentive and friendly and the hotel is close to restaurants and craft beer bars nearby... I’d recommend it to a traveler... The housekeeping was polite with coffee service and daily service. There is a pool and laundry machines(however, I couldn’t find them so perhaps they are in the staff area)

Would definitely stay again! Great hotel personnel! Nice, ventilated room. Very large bathroom. Bed extremely comfortable; not too hard and not too soft. A/C and heat worked well. Close to South Austin and AUS international airport. Had a great authentic Southern Austin style pork pulled sandwich at Slow Poke's! Loved our stay!

Discrimination at America's Best Value Inn for being a smoker because of a mistake that their employee made I'm very displeased with America's Best Value Inn in Buda. An employee that works there and made a mistake concerning my reservation. The manager was called to the front and we had a discussion about options and he pretty much gave me none. He asked me to pay more money than I had for something that was already offered to me by an employee there. Instead of trying to fix the problem. When that conversation turn it to me calling corporate to file a complaint he decided he's going to take it upon himself to charge the employee for the difference that the nights were going to cost me. He also threatened to call the police on me and try to refuse service because he said I had an extensive vocabulary and did not like my opinions. I was very excited to have the night alone to do some work and the hotel manager pretty much ruined it for me. I use hotels for nights a week for business I will definitely think twice before using a red lion product again. I can't believe they charge the employee for her mistake a large corporation like America's Best Value Inn. It is a smoking property and there are literally ashtrays mounted to the walls outside of some of the rooms. When I gave him my deposit I was told I had to leave the property to smoke cigarettes I believe he told me that only to make things difficult for me because of the miscommunication about my reservation. I was discriminated against because they made a mistake and I'm not happy.
