Good Value at a great price! I have lived in this are for 24 years. I recently sold my house and needed temporary lodging. Until now, I never new this hotel existed, and did not know the owner. I stayed here for 3 nights. I have seen some old, undeserved bad reviews for this hotel. This was not my experience. Seems to me they are coming from folks with 5 star expectations traveling on a 3 star budget, or some other irrelevant agenda. This is a 3 star hotel and it met my expectations. The staff were friendly and professional. My room was cleaned, restocked and made up every day I was there. Nothing was stolen and I had an expensive laptop, prescription medicines, and a $1000 cash with me. Yes the building shows its age, but then again, it is not 5 star lodging. Everything was clean. Disappointed there was not a microwave in the room, but a community microwave next to the vending machines. I always felt safe and experienced not drama. I saw families enjoying the pool. Where else are you going to find a hotel with a pool at that price for yourself and your kids. Yes, the breakfast is kind of "spartan" but you are paying for a 3 star, not a 5 star hotel. (Take yourself or your kids out for breakfast with the money you saved) There were no "suspicious people" loitering. You will see people of different ethnic backgrounds, most shy or well-mannered and behaved. (It seems to me that worse reviews is based on racism or some kind of Rich Privilege.) Parking is free and convenient. They is a Speedy Market next door, and plenty of places that will deliver as well as many good local dining venues. I do not recall seeing this location come up on the local police crime blotters, nor in the local papers, nor at Wright County Board Meetings. This hotel is located across the street from where the Wright County Republicans hold their monthly meetings. My philosophy on hotels is why pay $200 for a night when you are likely only going to be in the room for 10 hours. 1 hour before bed, 8 hours of sleep, & 1 hour to get ready to get on the road for your work and/or vacation Itinerary. Save that money to spend on your family and kids. If you must cajole family, put to them like this, "do we want to stay someplace cheaper tonight, so we can go do "something they really want to do" tomorrow. Use it as the opportunity to teach them the value of a dollar. "Truly Rich people don't need to prove they are rich by buying expensive things, only "wanna be rich" folks spend money to impress others. Rich people usually got rich being frugal.) Also, this lodging is owned by an Asian American Woman trying to live the American dream. She is one of the 99% of us average Americans. Why spend your money with huge hotel/motel corporations who use their money against the 99% of us to advance the evil Progressive Globalist Agenda. The 99% of us Americans need to back our fellow Americans, not the 1% who own/work for the Mega Corporations. If you want a cheap, but adequate place to stay in Buffalo, MN, USA, I recommend going here.

Flop House this is a transient flop house on the 1st floor in exchange for cleaning. Guests stay on the 2nd floor and no elevator so lug your bags up the stairs. Everything is shabby in need of repair, they tried to bill me twice for a one night stay.

Skip this place Our room didnt look anything like the photo. The bed was on a metal frame with a maybe 5" mattress pillows maybe 2" a scruncy blanket on top. Air conditioner had so much mold coming out of it you could see it between the louvers. Light by the bed had a short in it so wouldnt stay on, carpet was so stretch out it had buckles in it. Bathroom was clean tho. Ice machine didnt work. It never did get fixed before we left. The emergency exit door was left open all night which we thought was strange. No one at front desk except to check in then were told the list of donts. Breakfast was cereal and toast. This is a Wyndham motel and they had a sign on front door stating you would not receive points staying here. Look elsewhere rate was crazy and definetly not worth it.

So bad- not healthy to be in Smelled like air fresheners trying to cover up mold, dead mice and human stench. Would not recommend anyone stay here if you value your health and safety. Also spent 200 bucks and didn’t even. End up staying.
