Great hotel and great experience Myself, my husband and our two children had recently relocated to Burlington, NC because my husband was offered a new job. We decided to stay at the Affordable Suite of America until we found a house. Denise (the hotel manager) was the absolute best, and the sweetest. She doesn’t deserve 5 stars, she deserves 10 stars. My 12 year old son has ADHD/Autism, and she just adored him. She keeps the property well kept and safe, and doesn’t allow loiters. I’ve seen my fair share of hotels, where people just like to hang out in the parking lot, and that’s an absolute no no at the Affordable Suites in Burlington. They also have a little picnic area with a gas and charcoal BBQ grill. The rooms are nice and well kept. Also a big shout out to Rebecca the housekeeper. Since this is an extended stay, housekeeping only cleans the rooms once a week, but Rebecca is always there if you need any additional towels or bedding. She always keeps the rooms nice and tidy. I definitely recommend this property.

Worst Hotel Ever- I did not even stay, it was so bad The picture on line is not of the hotel. It is not new. I had a reservation for 2 nights. I had an inkling there would be problems so before checking in I asked to see the room. One of the 2 owners couple said I couldn't. So I checked in and went to the room. The first thing I do is check for bedbugs. I did not see any sign of them but saw the mattress was torn in a couple of places and the mattress pad had dirt on it- I was able to scrape some off so it obviously was not cleaned. There were crumbs in the microwave, black particles in the kitchen drawer, no utensils, black particles on the bathroom sink, and the inside of the full size refrigerator was not well cleaned, if at all. On one door shelf was a small hair and particle. I returned to the office and said the room was not clean at all and I can't possibly stay there and want a full refund. She said, Oh no, you will be charged 48 dollars. I was there with my son and hadn't allowed him to sit on anything. I said we'd be back and I took my son across the parking lot to another hotel and asked to use their internet. As we were pulling up other hotels to try to book, the front desk person said that the Best Western Plus had rooms (their hotel had no vacancy). She kept them on the phone, allowing me to book two nights. They were so kind. I returned to the Corporate Suites, took pictures of all of the dirt and issues, then went to the office again and now the other owner was there. I returned the key to him and he was so very mean and insulting. He said the cost would be over 80 dollars, for one night. He accused me of going to the other hotel, seeing it was nicer and deciding not to stay. I asked to see his wife and he said she was out. He had no idea why she said the cost would be lower. I basically gave him an ultimatum and said he has the choice of not charging me due to how dirty the room is (they never even had an interest to look at what I was saying was unclean) or I would call the health dept. He said you can have anyone you want come and look. I did call the health dept and sent them pictures. The person I spoke with went to inspect the next day and wasn't allowed in the room, being told someone was renting. If that was the case, they were double charging. He showed the owner my pictures and couldn't do much more than give him a warning. I plan to dispute it with my credit card company and was recommended to call the Attorney General's office. I have never stayed at such a low cost hotel and I guess you get what you pay for. Frankly, I don't believe the owners even hire anyone to clean and just make the sheets. That is why you will never find any utensils in the kitchen. They don't want to do the work. Oh, one sheet had a hole in it. I didn't think to look at the towels. I would not recommend anyone to stay there ever.

Nice Secret The family is funny but strict. They want to interview everyone that will stay in the room. If they approve of you, they will be pretty flexible. The place looks to be an old apartment building. With that being said, it has a great location because you could walk to dinner and grab drinks.

Lucky to find I found Corporate Suites comfortable, very quiet, and safe. The free Wi-Fi works better than other motels. Although Corporate Suites is a franchise, it's not just for corporate types. The location is good and convenient to everything. Coin-operated laundry is a nice feature.

Meeting family This was our first stay here. We only needed a place to sleep and change clothes, the rest of our time was spent with family. It was sufficient for our needs. Would have loved to have pool time. The room was clean. Only problem, no iron . NOT luxurious, but was really nice for the price.
