Chemical odors Horrible chemical smells in the lobby, dining area, and elevators. Front desk staff shrugged it off. Breakfast is pathetic. Everything is disposable. Room is barebones and cheaply decorated. Go to Springhill or Hyatt Place for a better mid range stay

Huge disappointment! OK. Pretty typical Hampton Inn. A little older than average, but well maintained. So I wouldn’t rip on the hotel or the hotel management too much. But here’s why I am giving a very low rating. 1. Crappy internet. Old security. So IPhones will not connect as their Ariba networking is identified as corrupt. Three IPhones had the same problem. 2. Fluky TV service. It’s internet delivered. So they really need to get a new ISP going and upgrade their approaches. Because what goods is a hotel without good TV/internet. 3. There is a bar next store. It’s 11:04 on a Saturday night right now. There is a bad Journey tribute band playing all their greatest hits - badly, and loudly. If I could post a recording, you could hear it like you were at a concert. There is no way of sleeping until the town ordinance makes them quit at midnight. My 4am hit the road time has been moved to 6am. That’s in the case I don’t blow my own brains out. 4. I am here for Elon University graduation. I get the hotel gets a better price when demand is high. But they went completely predatory and I am paying almost $400 per night. If they think this is good business, they have decent internet and TV service. They have the revenue to deliver if they go this predatory. The concert thing is not the Hotel’s fault. They hate it just as much as us guests. But it affects the guests, so I wanted people to know. DON’T STAY SATURDAY NIGHTS!!!

Offensive NOISE from bar next door Disturbingly LOUD bar (Moon Shine Z) directly next door; outdoor live rock band until midnight. The noise and bass from the music is beyond offensive, from 2pm to midnight. I mean, extremely loud and thumping. We will never stay at this hotel again.

In the area for college tennis We are here to watch my daughter’s tennis team play at Elon. This hotel we perfect , typical Hampton, we stay in Hampton a the time. Room was comfortable but slightly dated. The shower floor was creaky. Needs a little help. Breakfast was totally fine. Staff was friendly. Definitely a good place to stay. Clean and comfortable!
