Great stay in the city The room was clean and had everything we needed. The Hampton Inn breakfast was a great way to start the day. The trains going by the Inn were not noisy because of all the noise dampening in the walls.

Outdated, smelly and noisy The room is seriously outdated, the shower was disgustingly dirty and the washroom smelled bad. The bed was uncomfortable and the duvet cover was slippery and kept slipping off the bed. The temperature control was a major issue as well, couldn’t keep a steady temperature, so we had to turn it off. The reception had a poor attitude, always complaining about something - which isn’t my problem if the computer is slow, or that you don’t know we’re things are kept or that the coffee is empty. The pool and hot tub were very dirty as well, according to people in my party who decided to check it out. Breakfast was okay, sure glad there was a waffle iron, which was the only saving grace. The only great thing about this hotel, is its location. Everything else is wrong. The walls are paper thin as well. Sure glad we brought our pink noise machine to drown out any sounds of people going up and down the stairs, and the trains that pass several times a night. We loved Burlington and it’s quaint shops, but we would never stay at this place and I would not recommend it either.

"Service Fee" I made a reservation for two nights at this hotel. When I received my credit card statement, there was a service fee of $18.99. I have stayed at many hotels but never have I been charged with this kind of fee. In addition the taxes and fees amounted to an additional 24.4%. I stayed at Marriott brand earlier and there was no fee and taxes amounted to around 10%. The Burlington property was so so, with a decent breakfast, but I will go further to avoid all those fees.

Awful Experience The rooms were incredibly dirty, including smells and sprawling spiderwebs from lighting fixtures to the ceiling . Customer Service while booking was appalling. I am unsure how a chain hotel operates in this manor.
