La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Butte

Excellent choice The LaQuinta Inn at Butte has friendly and welcoming staff. We were greeted by happy, smiling faces who welcomed us in from a cold and stormy evening. Our room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the room had all the amenities one would hope to find in their hotel. There are many fine choices for restaurants in the area. In the morning we found a hot breakfast waiting downstairs. As we were leaving the staff member at the desk inquired about our day's plans, offered a few suggestions, and wished us to have a wonderful day and safe travels.

Stay away from the Butte La Quinta We stayed at this property due to the price and being close to the job sites I had to visit and the fact that they offered a "hot" breakfast and none of the other properties in the are offered a breakfast. The breakfast that was offered was anything but hot (eggs, sausage, and gravy was cold and potatoes were not cooked all the way through). I also had a dog in the room next door that barked/yapped for 2 nights in a row and the staff did not address the issue in a proactive manor. I will pay more to stay at a quality motel going forward when I have to come back to the Butte area.

A great budget hotel that goes above and beyond This is the best La Quinta hotel I've stayed in. I stayed here one night while passing through Butte on motorcycle trip trying to use up my pile on free Wyndham nights. I'll admit I was a little uneasy after reading a a couple of negative reviews, but I always take those with a grain of salt when the poster has only ever done a handful of reviews. Here's what made this place a poster child for a budget hotel. My room with a king size bed (403) was spacious, quiet, the bed was comfortable, the tv was large and they even stocked plenty of towels that were better than average. I'd put this room on par with what you'd get with one of the latest editions of Marriott's Fairfield Inns. The staff was friendly and seemed to genuinely care about my stay. Normally I skip the complimentary budget hotel breakfasts, but I ate this one. I just can't choke them down, but this one was above average; ham, eggs, biscuits, waffle maker, hard boiled eggs and continental breakfast items. I also grabbed a couple of granola bars to go. You won't mistake for a good cafe, but it was helped me get out the door without making an additional stop. I feel well-qualified to write this. I'm a Marriott Rewards lifetime platinum and Wyndham diamond member. That's a lot of hotel stays. Although it's right off the freeway, it's just a five minute drive to the city's historic downtown. Keep up the good work.

Very please Staff was very pleasant, friendly and accommodating. Hotel and room were very clean and updated. Will stay there again next time in town

Avoid hotel - the GM - Kevin has terrible customer service - he needs to be removed We reserved 5 rooms/6 nights for employees. Had CC issues upon check-in. Kevin told me to go to another hotel.
