Villa Del Palmar Resort & Spa Cabo San Lucas

10/10 amazing for my family This was a great choice for our Cabos and Lucas’s vacation, we stayed for seven days and never got bored. The food was incredibly amazing that all their four or five restaurants. Perfectly catering to me and my kids. They have two restaurants by the beach, a sports bar and great people taking care of us all the time. The place is neat. The kids loved the kids club and Janet and Brenda took care of the kids very well, they never complained or wanted to leave and loved the activities!! I would really rate 10 out of 10

Excellent Customer Service I usually don't write reviews but Ms. Gloria from Villa del Palmar (In House Reservations) was terrific!!! I had a group booking issue that turned into a nightmare. I spoke with 2 other representatives that prior to speaking to Gloria and they were not helpful at all. When I finally got through to her, she listened to my situation, reviewed the information and ACTUALLY RESOLVED the issue. Gloria, is attentive, personable and a businesswoman. Thanks Gloria!

A 70th Birthday Celebration to Remember at Villa del Palmar Our family of 18 had a completely lovely stay, from meals, to the kiddie pool, to the trolley! We would especially like to highlight our time at Tomatillos. All the staff SEEMLESSLY and KINDLY made our experience WONDERFUL!

Pretty and Manageable with amenities, but leaves a lot to be desired Pretty enough place, full kitchenette in the junior suite. Beach backdrop and sand is stunning. The resort area is pretty crowded. The customer service leaves a lot to be desired except for those who work for extra tips or timeshare presentation commissions. The rooms constantly smelled musty and moldy after check in and even after each cleaning. And we had a couple of days of wet slippery floors from condensation (or leakage?) which we had no tips on how to deal with that. They did send someone to check and clean. But then the air conditioner wouldn’t work the next day so we made do with the fan. Check in is at 4pm and no early check in. Went back to check in at 4 only to be told we would have to check in at 5 instead. Breakfast included typically requires a wait and you can’t go in and grab anything to just take to your room. Waterside is closed due to an accident. Food is nice looking but to me, requires more flavor. It’s manageable and kid friendly, but you have to prepare your mind. Everyone, starting from the airport to the hotels and attraction is either in fierce competition with eachother (the timeshare harassments at each turn) or they’re in cahoots with eachother with the number games to extort from you at the beginning or end of their so called offer deals. I didn’t find the culture here to be as genuine as other parts of the culture, sadly. So, we’re not in a hurry to return.

Fun in the sun Always fun to stay at Villa del Palmar. There was construction each weekday outside our room which we were not told about. There pools are getting to crowded and it’s a shame VDP guests are not able to enjoy pools at Arco. I like the new space for buffets and nightly shows, a good improvement.
