Utah Experience From the time I called to book our room to the time we left our experience was Awesome. Dakota the hotel manager was very helpful with check in especially since I changed it twice. He went as far as to leave the key under my mat so I could get in when I arrived which was supposed to be around 1am. He realized I had a dog with a leg injury and offered to move us to the 1st floor, I told him it wasn’t necessary. The rooms are very clean and beds are comfortable. Had a cold fridge, microwave, coffee maker with coffee, even a blow dryer. This is an older hotel but very clean. Ice machine and the waffles were very much appreciated. The pool and hot tub were clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and d accommodating. In today’s world this is a rare find for the price for sure.

The Innkeeper makes this place a hidden gem! This inn keeper is OUTSTANDING! Having never been in this area before, without my husband but with my teenagers, I was really struggling with the culture shift from what I am used to. There was no cell coverage in the area, heat in the 100s, and the area is desolate. There is no food or gas in this “town.” She was kind, caring, and supportive. She offered to refund my money if I felt I needed to stay somewhere else bc I was struggling with the situation and didn’t realize what I was getting into. She helped me find resources to make me feel more at home and set up my phone herself to connect me to Wi-Fi so I could make and receive calls and texts. I felt comfortable staying there because I knew we were in such good hands. She’s a sweetheart. Anything we needed, she was on it! Couldn’t ask for a better experience… bc of her! Thank you!!! I won’t ever forget it!

Beware late check-in Beds nice. World's smallest bar of soap in shower. Duplex cover plate missing. I advised late arrival. front office closed, but left key attached to lobby door. Great, except cypher cards didnt open door. No after hours phone # available PLUS no cell service. Ended up bunking with our fellow travelers. So if you arrive late, be prepared to sleep in car. Also, no phone in room, which might be illegal.

Nice place, but be aware…. The room is very nice and clean, microwave and refrigerator. It is very close to Capitol Reef which is why we chose it. The downside is no breakfast, the pool is not working and there is no laundry machines for guests even though it is listed as having them. Plus, the nearest restaurant or food of any kind is a 20 minute drive. So come prepared!

Modern and very comfortable hotel in quiet location Well appointed room furnished to high standard with very comfortable beds. JoNeal went out of her way to make our stay special with local visit suggestions in addition to Capitol Reef park. Star gazers will love the very dark skies. Milky way is awesome!
