Breakfast issue I wasn’t satisfied with the breakfast. I was told it was until 9:30. Both days I stayed they started cleaning it up around 9am. I would have loved to have a muffin.

Awful front desk experience Three of us checked in late. The front desk guy clearly did not want to help us. He was rude, irritated and angry that we were there - just for us asking to be checked in. There was a problem with our corporate card and he became angry and dismissive. He definitely did not want to deal with us and he really seemed like he was going to push us out the door and not help us figure out the problem. When we pushed back against his rudeness, it became worse and he read us out for about 5 minutes. I've never been treated so poorly. We're all pretty friendly people and have worked in the service industry previously. We know what it's like dealing with problems - but this was far, far beyond acceptable. In between all of this, he took a call from a customer and was equally as rude to them, as well as another guest waiting to check in. As a result of this behavior - his aggression and anger, we did not feel safe in this hotel, especially since he would have access to our rooms, as well as our personal information. (We ended up having to pay with our personal credit cards and sorted the issue out in the morning with a much friendlier front desk woman.) Unfortunately we had to stay here as we had booked a multi-day event. I see other comments related to him and his behavior and I am shocked that he is still employed there. With that said, the rest of the staff were top of the line - other front desk people, housekeeping and maintenance. They were really wonderful. The conference room was nice, the sleeping rooms were good. Unfortunately because of the experience with an aggressive, threatening, angry person on our arrival, and the unsafe atmosphere he created, I cannot rate this hotel any higher than one star. We will not be staying here again, and our company will never book an event here again. Please do yourself a favor and find another hotel.

Customer service was non existent. I was a problem not a valued customer The desk clerk told us our room was not ready (@ 3:15 for a 3:00 check in) then proceeded to tell us that it’s not his fault that his room inspector has more rooms to do. He refused to allow us to use the pool or any hotel services “because what would happen if you got hurt”? As if getting hurt waiting in his lobby wouldn’t carry just as much liability. He was rude, uncaring and didn’t want to understand that HE decided when I check in and HE didn’t abide my the time we were told to arrive. The mattress was a solid rock, they never mentioned charging our credit card an additional $50 up front for incidentals and check in took entirely too long. Will never stay there again

Decent hotel, shady corporate practices This is our go to spot when visiting family. Not fancy but reliable. We like the pool, coffee and waffles. During this stay there was hair in the floor beside the bed. I wouldn't have noticed except I used a tissue to wipe up a drop of ice cream and pick up long stringy hair. I didn't complain about it. My issue was with the umbrella they're under (Choice hotels) because they offer a price match guarantee but then have exclusions that you aren't made aware of until after you've booked at their higher rate. I even called before booking to inquire and was not told about the exclusion. The rep was all to happy to book the stay but claimed to know nothing about the details of the price match program. I completed the claim form anyway after booking. Then I get an email on the day of check out saying my claim for a price match was denied. How convenient _

Staff friendly, bed hard as a rock! The Staff was friendly and the room was quiet. It was very hot in the elevator. There was a large stain on the carpet right next to the bed. Also, the king bed was as hard as a rock. I don't think I will stay there again.
