A tired property, way past it's prime and poorly maintained Old and in need of repair. Deck was dirty and moldy. Grounds were unkempt. Room was tired, tired, tired. No food, except for a basket with a few bags of potato chips and small, plastic bottles of water. My wife and I slept there only because we had already paid.

Do not book!! Do not book this hotel. The website is totally misleading leading and the property looks nothing like the pictures depict. The room was dirty, unkempt and on need of serious maintenance. The bathroom was disgusting and in need of a total renovation. The shower water never got above lukewarm. The outdoor deck off the room was dirty, moldy and in need of repair. The property is overgrown, littered with trash and not maintained. There are zero amenities and the bistro is no more. At $200/night is a total rip off. It is clear the owners do not care.

DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE I will try to keep this as to the point as possible, but DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. I have reached out to the owners and given them the chance to address their problems and make a good faith effort to show they are trying but after a week I have received no reply, so my only option now is to warn fellow travelers. My hope is the property owners realize that what they are doing is shady and they either need to put their efforts into returning to either returning to good business practices, finding a better management company, or selling to someone who will. - It looks like up until 2019 this was a nice place to stay. COVID must have done a number on them because they are not anymore, and it shows. Ignore any review before the past 2 years, those posters clearly visited the property in a better time. - Do not trust the pictures show on the website. They are inaccurate to the current property. We stayed in room 2 which pictured a dramatic 4 poster bed and other romantic colors and theming. Those have been replaced. The bed is now with a spring steel frame without even a bed skirt to hide it’s barrack’s like feel. The mattress is old and uncomfortable. All rich red colors in the website picture have been replaced with a sickly beige of a mid to low end motel. The other furniture, fixtures, and curtains are damaged and pathetic. It looks like they were trying to upgrade at some point but gave up and are now trying to charge for luxury resort while delivering roadside motel. DO NOT TRUST THEIR PICTURES. Its not the difference between a good and bad photo, they do not show the image of the room today. BAIT AND SWITCH. - The deck does not have the wicker and cushion furniture but is steel mesh. The mini hot tub is about 4’ diameter, and shallow (maybe 2.5’) and the moment you get in, it overflows through the deck. If two try to use it together the remaining water level threatens to sink beneath the jets causing a horrible sucking sound all night. The covers are weather battered, cracked, and unappealing looking. - The “bistro” is simply an area of tables and chairs with a microwave, coffee maker, and a few free snacks they bought at Costco. It is not staffed and honestly, we never saw an innkeeper except one cleaning person emptying garbage and restocking the water bottles. THERE IS NO BISTRO. - The outside property is verging on overgrown. The grass is weedy, the blackberries and hedges are overgrown. The one good thing about the place, the view, is half obscured on lower floor rooms. The plexiglass of the decks is disgustingly dirty anyway so even if the plants were cut back, you are staring through hazy plastic. The walk down to the beach is barely accessible, almost overgrown as well, and narrow causing you to walk through a neighbor’s back yard. Altogether, the appearance is an owner who just doesn’t care anymore, or perhaps is so strapped that they can’t afford to make this place as nice as they are charging for. It’s a shame, the property was clearly fairly nice a few years ago, but it is now old, tired, and the people who run it are limping along at best. If you have not other choice, negotiate a much better deal on your rate than the one they are offering. They managed to get our money, don’t let that be you. RUN FROM THIS PLACE until they find someone to sell it to who cares.

Avoid It's seriously run down - no one at the front desk at all, some bags of Chex Mix and bottled water at the unmanned reception. Room 6 had no robes (as were advertised as being included), a bathroom fan so dirty we had to clean it ourselves (after asking the one person briefly present at the inn whether she had a feather duster or a broom so we could clean it ourselves to which she replied that the dust was "unremovable and maintenance would be there in the morning"), no ice machine ("a guest broke it, maintenance will be here in the morning,") no coffee in the morning unless we made it ourselves in a seriously dingy looking pot in the front area. A hedge in front of room 6 made it a no-view room when one sat on the veranda. For $250 a night, do not recommend.

Just don’t I was so excited to finally get to stay here. Sadly, it was not a good experience. I’m fairly certain no one else was there but us. No staff and no other guests. That was just weird. A previous guest’s dirty laundry was in the dresser but there was no one to tell so there it sat. We booked room 6 because we wanted to sit out and watch the water, the hedge was WAY too high to do that. When I booked, the website said a continental breakfast was available, there was only 2 day old coffee and it’s since been removed from the website. Dirty glasses were in the bin our entire stay. The exhaust fan in the bathroom was very dirty. There were no hangers and no where to hang clothes. It has so much potential but sadly, it’s not a place I’d ever stay again or recommend to anyone.
